— ——家族夙怨引发的爱情悲歌

【导读】 莎翁的《罗密欧与朱丽叶》(Romeo and Juliet)是一出因家族仇恨而导 致的爱情悲剧。剧中男女青年罗密欧与朱丽叶真心相爱,但家族仇恨使他们无法公 开恋情。在朱丽叶乳母的帮助下,两人在花园互相表达爱意,并在牧师主持下秘密 结婚。后来,罗密欧失手打死朱丽叶家族中人,被逐出城,朱丽叶的父母也逼女儿另 嫁他人。在神父帮助下,朱丽叶喝下药酒,佯装死去;但消息未能及时传达给罗密 欧,他走进墓穴,以为爱人已死,便饮鸩而亡。朱丽叶醒来,发现罗密欧已死,悲痛中 用匕首自杀身亡。恋人的殉情使双方家庭悲痛不已并握手言和。选文“阳台诉衷情” 选自第二幕第二场,是本剧中乃至世界文学史中最为精彩的对白之一,在这一场, 罗密欧来到朱丽叶家花园,看到了窗边的朱丽叶,和她互诉衷情。
