DMCHA常温为无色至浅黄色透明液体,能溶于醇及醚类溶剂,不溶于水。是强碱性叔胺化合物。它的沸程160~165℃,凝固点-60℃,密度(25℃)0.85~0.87g/cm3,折射率(20℃)1.4541~1.4550,闪点(闭环)40~41℃。蒸汽在空气中爆炸极限(体积分数)3.6~19.0%
N,N-二甲基环已胺的主要用途是作为硬质聚氨酯泡沫塑料的催化剂,用途广泛。用于冰箱硬泡、板材、喷涂、现场灌注聚氨酯硬泡。对硬泡的反应和凝胶反应提供较平衡的催化性能,它对水与异氰酸酯的反应(发泡反应)的催化更强,同时对多元醇与异氰酸酯的反应也有适中的催化性,这是泡沫反应的强初始催化剂。环已胺特别适合配制双组分体系,可溶解于许多硬泡多元醇及助剂中,在组合料中性能稳定,可调性大,并能长期存放。根据反应速度和泡沫物性的不同,加入量可在相应宽的范围内调节。

Physical and chemical properties:
DMCHA is colorless to light yellow transparent liquid at room temperature, soluble in alcohols and ether solvents, insoluble in water. It is a highly basic tertiary amine compound. Its boiling range is 160~165℃, its freezing point -60℃, its density (25℃) is 0.85~0.87g/cm3, its refractive index (20℃) is 1.4541~1.4550, and its flash point (closed loop) is 40~41℃. The explosion limit (volume fraction) of steam in air is 3.6~19.0%
The main use of N, N-dimethylcyclohexamine is as a rigid polyurethane foam catalyst, widely used. Used for rigid foaming of refrigerator, plate, spraying, spot pouring polyurethane rigid foaming. It provides a more balanced catalytic performance for hard foam reaction and gel reaction. It is stronger for the reaction of water and isocyanate (foaming reaction), and it is also moderately catalytic for the reaction of polyols and isocyanate, which is a strong initial catalyst for foam reaction. Cyclohexamine is particularly suitable for the preparation of two-component systems, which can be dissolved in many hard foamed polyols and additives. It has stable properties in composite materials, large adjustable properties, and can be stored for a long time. The amount added can be adjusted in a wide range according to the reaction speed and physical properties of the foam.
