the way+定语从句
way 后面跟定语从句有三种形式 (1) way + in which + 定语从句 She was pleased with the way in which he had accepted her advice.
(2) way + that +定语从句 They didn’t do it in the way that we do now.
Is this the book (which/that ) she was looking for?
The babies (whom /who/that) the nurse are looking after are very healthy.
4．表示地点、时间和原因含义的“ 介词+which” 结构可分别用关系副词where, when 和why 替换。 The earth on which /where we live is a planet.
正确答案为C, 亦可用in which。句意为： 我在一家企业工作，在此几乎每个人都在等候时机。

as作为关系代词的用法
1.as 引导的限制性定语从句 such ….as： 像….一样的，像…..之类； the same…as： 和…..同样的
在这两个句型中，as是关系代词，such和same 作 定语，修饰主语里的某个名词（或代词），这个名 词是由as引导的定语从句的先行词，as在从句中可 担任主语、宾语或表语。
2.引导词在句中作状语时，引导词可用where 或 in which / at which 。

注意：As与that的区别 As 引导的定语从句表示它的内容与主句所讲的内
容相似，即指同类事物；that 引导定语从句表示的 内容与主句相同，即为同一事物。
This is the same pen that I lost yesterday .这正是我昨天丢的钢笔。(指同一支笔) This is the same pen as I lost yesterday . 这正像我昨天丢的钢笔。（指同类型的笔，但并不是 我丢失的那一支）

3．因含固定搭配的短语一般不拆开，介词仍放在动 词的后面。 此种情况下关系代词可用which, that , who, whom ， 或将他们省略。
as 和which 引导的非限制性定语从句的联系和区别
1、as 和which 都可以代替整个句子，当定语从句置 于主句之后时，as和which可以和互换。
He didn’t tell me any news, as/which upset me.
2、Which引导的从句，代表的前面的整个主句时， 不能放在主句之前。而as 引导的定语从句，代表整个 主句时，可以放在主句之前或之后，有时也可以放在 主语和谓语之间。
As is reported in the newspapers, talks between the two countries are making progress.
= Talks between the two countries, as is reported in the newspapers, are making progress.

带介词的定语从句解释
1．在“介词+which/whom”结构中，关系代词用 which 还是用whom ，取决于它前面的先行词是物还 是人。先行词是物， 用which ； 若为人，就用 whom 。如：
Nearby were two ships in which they had come to the island.
