Mount Jiuhua

• Mount Jiuhua (simplified Chinese: 九华山; literally "Nine Glorious Mountains") is one of the four sacred mountains of Chinese Buddhism. It is located in Qingyang County in Anhui province and is famous for its rich landscape and ancient temples.
• Many of the mountain‘s temples are dedicated to Ksitigarbha (Chinese:地藏王), who is a Bodhisattva[bɒdɪ'sɑːtvə] and protector of beings in hell realms.
• In addition to the religious significance, Jiuhua also has beautiful scenery, such as sunrise and sunset, the sea of clouds, rime and snow .Known as the first Southeast Mountain. These wonders make people enjoy so much and forget to leave.
• For the Buddhists, Mount Jiuhua is a holy and important place. There are many people go to pilgrimage['pɪlgrɪmɪdʒ] every year. They hopeLeabharlann Baiduthat Bodhisattvas will bring them good luck and make them get rid of disease.
