之前我们分析了在外企英语口语面试

问题及答案,那是针对一对一的面试而准备的,现在越来越多的外企在首轮面试中采用小组面试(Group Interview)的方式筛选竞聘者。之所以这样做,主要是因为竞聘者众多,小组面试能够节省打工时刻,提高面试效率。此外,因为小组面试采用的是情景模拟和角色表演的方式,因而有助于竞聘者较好地发挥其特长,展现其优势和各地方的能力。那么何为小组面试?小组面试是怎样开展的?竞聘者在小组面试中需求注意啥?

何为小组面试

小组面试是一种同时对多名竞聘者开展集体面试的形式。小组面试主要采用情景模拟和角色表演的方式,让竞聘者模拟参与某一实质商务活动情景(如座谈解决厂家出现的问题等)。主考官通过观望每位竞聘者的言行举止,来判别竞聘者的口头表示能力、逻辑思维能力、辩论能力、说服能力、限制情绪能力、组织协调能力、整理人际关系能力、时刻顾问能力、非言语沟通能力(如竞聘者的面部表情、肉体姿势、语调、语速和手势等)等各地方的能力和素质是否做到招聘职位的要求。此外,主考官还会注意竞聘者在全部面试过程中所表现出来的自信度、进取心、使命心、灵活性等个性特点和行为风格是否符合招聘厂家的团体氛围。

小组面试如何开展

通常来讲,外企小组面试的过程一般分为三个部分:独立说明、小组座谈和总结演讲。独立说明部分要求每位竞聘者做这个简短的独立说明,时刻一般为两分钟左右。独立说明通常有两种形式:①要求竞聘者做常规独立说明,即容易说明自我的一般资讯;②要求竞聘者按照面试现场所提供的火词说明自我。

招聘方也会预先制作一些卡片,每张卡片上有这个火词。这些火词涉及竞聘者的打工经验、性格特征等各地方的综合素质,例如:你曾经所取得的头号成正是啥?你头号的缺点是啥?你的求职目标是啥?你的五年进展规划是啥?主考官会要求竞

聘者随机抽取卡片来说明自我。

在小组座谈部分,主考官会将竞聘者分成每组5~8人的几个小组,每组配以1~2名主考官,要求每个小组就某一火词展开座谈。座谈的时刻一般为二十分钟左右。这种小组座谈的形式也称为无上级小组座谈(leaderless group discussions)。在这种无上级小组座谈中,主考官不会为竞聘者指定异常的角色,也不会为竞聘者指定应说坐的位置,而是让所有竞聘者自行安排、自行组织。主考官只是观望竞聘者的表现,对竞聘者做出评价。

小组座谈的火词通常是要求小组成员座谈这个与打工相关的问题,并寻找该

问题的解决方式,或要求小组成员通过商讨,完工一项预先设置好的任务。而具体火词的选择往往取决于招聘职位的要求。下文列举了八个常见小组座谈火词,分别涉及行政、人力资源、促销、卖出量、采购、财务、公关、顾问等竞聘职位:

①行政:The company will hold its annual business meeting in Hong Kong. There is a list of the hotels to choose from. The hotels’ rates, facilities, distances to the airport, and so on are provided. Discuss the situation together and select the most suitable one.

②人力:The company needs to relocate several members of staff to a new branch opening in another part of the country. Discuss and decide together: which types of financial incentives the company could offer to staff; what information staff would need to know about the new location.

③促销:The company plans to produce a new car model and to target consumers between 18 and 25 years old. Discuss and decide together: which features of a car might be important to the target group; where the company could advertise the car.

④卖出量:The company is going to entertain a group of foreign clients for three days, including one non-working day. Discuss and decide together: what kinds of activities would be suitable for the visit; what information it would be useful to know about the clients before finalizing the program.

⑤采购:The company is going to buy or rent office equipment. Discuss and decide together: what the advantages and disadvantages of buying office equipment are; what the advantages and disadvantages of renting office equipment are.

⑥财务:The company is going to cut operation costs. Discuss and decide together: what reasons there might be for the high operation costs; how staff can be encouraged to help reduce costs.

⑦公关:The company would like to introduce a newsletter to send to its customers regularly. Discuss the situation together and decide: what kinds of articles and information should be included in the newsletter; what the newsletter should look like and how often it should be produced.

⑧顾问:The company is sending a group of employees away together for three days to encourage them to work as a team. Discuss and decide together: what practical arrangements the company needs to make before the trip; which work and leisure activities would be suitable for the group.

小组面试的第三部分为总结演讲。在这部分中,主考官通常要求小组代表就所座谈的内容做这个简短陈述,时刻一般为3~5分钟。小组代表可以由小组成员推

荐产生,也可以由某一小组成员自荐产生,一般主考官不会具体指定哪一位竞聘者

代表小组发表演讲。演讲的目的主要是陈述小组座谈的结果。演讲结束后,主考官会对每个小组以及各小组成员的表现开展评估。

注意事项

对小组面试的定义与过程有了这个清楚的了解之后,竞聘者在参与小组面试

的过程中还需求注意以下事项:
