Step One Review & Lead in

First teacher will brainstorm students with a video to help them have a review what have been learnt before, and then shows two pictures to lead in the topic of this lesson.

Step Two Grammar focus

1.Recognize the rules

Teacher classifies in advance the table on Page 95 into five sections according to the five regular changing rules. In order to cultivate students’interest, teacher plays a cliff video. And then teacher shows tables respectively to let students generalize the rules of the different degrees of adjectives: Positive degree, Comparative degree and Superlative degree. Then teacher summarizes the usage of adjective degrees.

(说明:以一个视频片段引起学生学习兴趣。根据课本第95页的表,老师根据形容词比较级和最高级变化规则提前将规则变化分为5类,即5个小表格,再将五个小表格一一呈现,让学生自己通过表格呈现出的形容词比较级和最高级的变化形式和规律,总结规则和不规则变化,为接下来的活动做好语言的铺垫。)

2.Look and write ( Activity 17)

Teacher explains the example to students. And students look at the pictures and complete the sentences they may say in that situation, following the example.

Finally, Teacher asks 3 students to write the sentences on the board to see if they are right.
