What’s your name?
•My name is Liu Jingyuan. Liu is my family name and Jingyuan is my given name. And you can also call me Susan, which is my English name given by my grandpa.

Would you like to change your name?
•No. I’ve been using this name all my life and I like it. It’s meaningful and historical.
•Yes. My name is so common that I always meet with people who share the same name with me. Sometimes it’s disturbing and I’m considering to change an identifiable name.
•I’d like to choose old people. Because they are pretty quiet and usually have a regular life. They seldom make noises at night.

Does your name have any special meaning?
•Yes, definitely. Jing means the shine of jade and Yuan means pretty girls. Jing was chosen by my dad from a Chinese dictionary and my mom added the “Yuan” to it.

Do you prefer to spend time with your family or with your friends?
•They are both important to me so I don’t have a preference. You know what, I think one should spend time with both family members and friends regularly to improve the relationship.

Do you know your neighbors?
•To be honest, I don’t know them very well. We barely talk, only say hi to each other when meeting in the elevator.
