It is universally acknowledged that the issue of the contrast of booming tourism and conservation of national heritage has currently sparked a storm of discussion. We find a sea of people who contend the idea that once they obtain a great amount of money, they tend to spend these money on traveling which will facilitate to broaden their eyes, whereas meanwhile, the flourishing tourism exerts some negative consequences, which bring about more difficulties for the government to protect the historical heritage.

Admittedly, with the development of current economy, spring has already come to tourist industry. According to the statistic published on the China Daily last week, the figure of tourists who had a trip to inland China has drastically increased by 7.3% compared to the last year during The National Day. People, especially the parents are enthusiastic about bring their children to visit some historical sights in order to broaden their eyes and extend their limits. However, disproportionate emphasis on the travel still gives rise to some serious problems.

First an foremost, the conservation of the historical heritage become more and more difficult for the government to tackle. With the people swarming into the sight, the spectacular sights become a place saturated with people let along display their beauty for the visitors. For instance, one of Chinese most famous religious sights Taishan has been visit by throng of people who intend to climb on the top of the mountain. However, during the climbing process, they rub their shoulders and difficult for them to move forward. The Xinhua News Agency once pressed that there are approximately 5 million people who visit Taishan. Moreover, people who come rural place will explore everything novel to them and pay less attention on the environmental protection. The phenomenon of the trash littered by people can be witnessed everywhere and they have no awareness of doing this thing. The statistics of the amount of trash produced by the scenery sights is astonishing. Therefore, it is the high tome for the government to propagate the necessity of protecting the environment and raise the awareness of the whole public.

In addition, the explosion of the tourism is corresponding erosion of some of the world’s most precious cultural monuments. The abroad new agency sometimes will report the shame behavior acted by the Chinese people. There is a story. A Chinese mother allow her child to reliever himself anywhere he wants, which totally deteriorates the local environment. She even have no conscious of engrave the name on the preciously historical sights is illegal. Hence, regulating people’s behavior should be listed on the government’s schedule. By making leaflets and small brochure, people can receive more guidance and knowledge so as to help them improve their behavior.

Government currently is required to put the regulation of the booming tourist in a more systematic and comprehensive way to deal with this troublesome problem.

To sum up, we should continuously keep an eye on the hot topic of flourishing tourism corresponding with the conservation of the historical sights. It is the high time for both the government and every citizen to rinse the discrimination and spare no efforts to conserve the environment.
