复习课---定语从句
一、课前朗读:
朗读学过的单词、短语、对话、课文。
二、复习目标:
Hello, everyone! Now read the revision tasks by yourself.
1、加深对定语从句的理解和认识。
2、通过练习查缺补漏。
3、熟练掌握、运用that 和who引导的定语从句。
三、教学过程:
(一)、课前导入:做游戏:
T: Now let’s play a game to practice listening and speaking.
First listen, then follow me as soon as possible. Let’s have a competition “Who has a good memory?”(这是一个通过增加定语快速说句子的记忆游戏。)
T: “Harry Potter is a clever young boy.”
Ss: Repeat. (It is a little bit easy. Ss are very happy.)
T: “Harry Potter is a clever young English boy.”
Ss: Go on repeating easily with a smile.
T: “Harry Potter is a clever young English boy with glasses.”
Ss: Most Ss can repeat it easily and happily.
T: “Harry Potter is a clever young English boy with glasses who makes movies.”
Ss: Repeat. Some Ss cannot say it out fluently.
T: Repeat again. (Some Ss understand and repeat it.) T: “Harry Potter is a clever young English boy with glasses who makes Hollywood movies.”
Ss: Repeat it easily.
T: “Harry Potter is a clever young English boy with glasses who makes Hollywood movies about magic and witches.”(Repeat it twice.)
Ss: Repeat it slowly.
T: Follow me. Let’s say it together. Well done.
T: “I think Harry Potter is a clever young English boy with glasses who makes Hollywood movies about magic and witches.”
Ss: Repeat it together as quickly as they can. (They think the game funny and like English, too.)
T: Ask Ss what kind of clauses it is.
S: It is not only the Attributive Clause but the Objective Clause.
T: Well done. Let’s go on to do some other exercises.
(二)、自主复习:
找出定语从句并翻译句子,然后总结归纳其特点:
1、He who does not reach the Great Wall is not a true man.
2、Who is the man that is reading the book over there?
3、They can choose something that they like.
4、The story that he told was very popular.
5、I love music that I can dance to.
Ss: Find out the Attributive Clause.
Ss: Discuss it in pairs and sum up its character:
(1)、先找到先行词;
(2)、再找到连接词;
(3)、连词在定语从句中做成分(主语或宾语);
(三)、检测效果:
T: Do it by yourself,then check and discuss it in pairs. If you all cannot understand it, write it on the blackboard. Let’s study it together.
