This is revision1of SB6for the LRA-900Radio Altimeter.
This revision adds reinstallation instructions for HY2and HY3to the Accomplishment instructions.
This revision also deletes the instruction for removing U3from the RF assembly.

(1)Condition Modification Affects
Unmodified units may exhibit intermittent RA Flags due to poor RF grounding.
(2)Extent Condition Encountered
LRA-900units without this service bulletin are more susceptible to intermittent radio
altimeter flags.
(3)Scope of Modification
This modification is a permanent change.
(4)Expected Benefits of Modification
LRA-900units with this service bulletin are less likely to exhibit intermittent RA Flags
due to poor RF grounding.

Ensure that the chassis cleaning,the ground braid installation and the wire routing are
correct.Add ground clamp to the RF assembly.
