第九讲Unit 7 At a snack bar相信大家都很喜欢吃肯德鸡和麦当劳吧,可是,同学们,你们知道这些食物用英语怎么表达吗?别急,马上就告诉你。

pizza 比萨饼 butter 奶油 cookie 曲奇 toast 土司 pudding 布丁 muffin 松饼 bacon 熏肉 pancake 烙饼 要点简析:1. 我们would like 来询问或表达意愿。

如:A: What would you like? 你想要点儿什么?B: I’d like a hamburger. 我想要一个汉堡包。

我们一定要注意与What do you like?的区别,What do you like?是询问对方喜欢什么,用I like …来应答。

让我们一起来看看下面两个句子的比较。

① What would you like? 你想要什么?I ’d like some chips. 我想要一些薯条。

② What do you like? 你喜欢?I like dolls. 我喜欢洋娃娃。

2. 在英语中,像chocolate ,tea ,coffee ,juice ,milk ,water 这类单词属物质名词,不可数,因此与some 搭配时,应表达为some chocolate ,some tea 等。

如需表示“一个或多个”的概念时,需加上a cup of / a glass of 这类定词,如:a glass of juice, two cartons of milk 等。

cake 一词,在表示整体时通常作单数,一些蛋糕可表示为some cake 。

另外像chips ,boodles ,sweets ,biscuits 这类词本身就是以复数形式出现的。
