中南大学英语专业本科培养方案
英语专业本科培养方案一、英语专业简介英语专业成立于1972年,是全国理工院校中创办最早的英语专业之一,1979年开始招收硕士研究生,1986年获“英语语言文学”硕士授予权,1995年国务院学位检查评估中获A级(优秀)标准。
本专业所有教室实现多媒体网络教学,拥有国内一流的电化教学设备和省级优秀专业实习基地。
现有在编教师45人,教授17人,副教授18人,讲师10人。
本专业2008年获批湖南省特色专业,2010年成为国家特色专业,在武书连评估体系中连续多年被评为A级或5A级专业,全国排名第15名。
二、培养目标本专业培养具有扎实的英语语言基础和较广泛的相关学科知识,能在外事、经贸、文化、新闻、教育、科研、旅游等部门从事翻译、教学、研究、管理等工作的复合型拔尖英语人才。
三、培养要求本专业按照“以人为本、自主发展、夯实基础、拓展方向”的原则,培养学生具有英语语言、文学、历史、政治、经济、外交、科技、社会文化等方面的基本理论和基本知识,接受英语听、说、读、写、译等方面的良好训练,掌握一定的科研方法,具有从事翻译、研究、教学、管理等工作的业务水平。
毕业生应主要获得以下几个方面的知识和能力:1.具有扎实的英语语言基础和熟练的听、说、读、写、译能力;2.掌握语言学、文学、经贸、翻译等方面的专业知识;3.了解我国国情和英语世界的社会和文化;4.具有一定的第二外国语的实际应用能力;5.具有计算机基本操作技能和熟练的文字处理能力及上网进行文献检索、资料查询的能力;6.具有初步的科学研究能力;7.具备良好的道德素质、业务素质和身体素质。
四、主要课程和特色课程主干课程:基础英语、高级英语、英语口语、英语听力、英语写作、翻译理论与实践、第二外语、口译特色课程:英国文学、美国文学、普通语言学、语言学实验设计与统计初步、外贸函电、科技文体翻译、传媒英语阅读五、学制与学位标准学制:4年,学习年限3-6年学位:文学学士六、毕业合格标准本专业学生应达到学校对本科毕业生提出的德、智、体、美等方面的要求,完成培养方案规定的各类教学环节的学习,最低修满184.5学分(其中必修116.5学分),毕业设计(论文)答辩合格,方可准予毕业。

(3)把语言同科技联系在一起的理工科英 语专业,如北交、上交、北航、北理、武 理、大理、大海、东大。他们重视词汇量 和语言基本功,以及英语在科学技术中的 应用,这些院校题目出得整齐,准备起来 也比较容易,但不一定好考,因为近年来 报考的人数年年递增。
(4)把英语和政治、经济、文化、外交联系 紧密的院校,如对外经济贸易大学、外交 学院、广东外语外贸等等。这类院校适合 那些有志从事外交、外贸工作的考生。 (5)冷门学校,比如一些地方类、专业性比 较偏的院校。这类学校报的人不多,比较 好考,试卷水平相当专八或略低于专八, 比较适合于那些对自己没有充分把握,只 想取得一纸文凭的考生报考。总之,报考 院校要充分结合自己的理想和能力。
(3)摆在大家面前的选择只有一个:或者考 研,或者工作。如果考研,就把它当成第 二次高考,排除杂念,全力拼搏,考完研 接着考博,这是未来最理想的出路。如果 想工作,就千方百计地去到国家企事业单 位去工作,受雇于民营、合资等企业性质 的工作不可能是终身的,只能解决眼前的 生存问题。在即将毕业的十字路口上,一 定不要犹豫,犹豫的结果只能是失败。

中南大学英语翻译硕士考研经验分享以及辅导建议一、关于择校翻译硕士择校的因素很多,有地理位置、学校类型、学制、学费、学校出题题型、自身基础等。
我选择中南大学主要是以下原因:①地处湖南长沙,和我家离得很近。
②985名校(原谅我这个出身双非的名校情结),偏理工科,考文科专业的话,竞争相对那些老牌师范类学校要小一点。
③学费一年13000人民币,补上一年8000的奖学金,性价比很高。
④初试三门专业课题型非常对我胃口,每年题型基本是不变的,篇章翻译主要考时政类文章中译英,科普类文章英译中,难度和长度适中,可以接受。
至于为什么考翻译硕士呢,因为我本科专业是英语,二外学的不好,只能考专业硕士,那就只有英语教育和翻译了。
我比较喜欢后者,对后者更得心应手。
简单介绍下中南翻译硕士的考研情况,中南不是翻译硕士报考院校里面的大热门,报考的学生数没有北上广那些学校多,但是录取人数也虽然不少高校研究生扩招了,但是扩招的幅度远远比不上研究生考试报名人数的幅度。
所以千万不要在一战的时候就想着二战,一定要坚持下去,因为第二年难度更大,不稳定的因素更多了。
其实,中南的翻硕相对于广外上外华师那些学校,难度还是要小一些的。
初试题目真的考翻译基本功,没有故意刁难考生的地方,而且无论是推免生还是统考生,中南都不看你的本科出生的,只要你自身足够优秀。
二、考研初试经验政治中南的政治单科线是60分,必须及格!所以如果高中是理科生一定要好好准备,早点复习哦。
