The WPA (Works Progress Administration), established to oversee and implement the public works employment policy instituted in 1935, was eliminated in 1943 during World War II, employing between 1 and 3 million people on any given day during its run. A half a million miles of the road were repaired thanks to this program, along with many bridges and buildings. Though ambitions for the progressives that backed the welfare system were largely thwarted by Southern Republicans, for instance, a national healthcare system was shot down; the welfare system was established and was growing. Beginning with a little over 200 million dollars in federal aid in 1932, this assistance was increased to a remarkable 4 billion plus by 1939. More aid was to come in the years following the War. So the government should establish some reasonable policies that can make sure the people who need help really get the kindness and have a happiniess life. I planed to try playing summer work where far away from home. Parents didn’t smile on me to do that. So I went away to another city all by myself without telling both of my parents and with little money at hand. I found a job as soon as I reached there where I could live and eat there. With money less and less, I had to have meal in the dining room there. A few days later I felt that the bunk i s so hard that I couldn’t sleep well. Food in the dining room is so hard to eat. However, working during the day made me so tired. It is such a painful feeling. I thought of delicious foods and comfortable bed in my home. I recalled the every moment spent with my parents. I nearly gave up this trip and rushed home as fast as can. But then I thought of a motto” Practice what you preach” what made me insist. It is may be the longest month in my life. I finally gained the first bucket of gold in my life. Though it is the most difficult situation I have ever experienced, I got a lot from it. I learn that working is never a ease. Family is forever the warmest harbor.5.Let's learn from each other and help each otherHelping others is a good traditional virtueof Chinese people,if we help each other,our society would be more harmony.Learning from each other is also important for every one ,as the saying goes , nothing is best but there are things better.In today's society, competition between us is more and more intense, we should have awareness that we should help and learn from each other to make ourselves better. Everyone has his advantage,we can learn from others' advantage to make up the part that we are not good at. Internationally,we also can find that countries help and learn from each other to make itself develop better. Communications between countries become more and more frequently.It's frequently seen that when one country is in help, other countryies would offer help quickly.Such as the earthquake happened in Wenchuan, the tsunami happened in Indonesia and so on.Help and learn from others is a sign of loving each other.With help from others,it can be easier for us to do things,and with learning fromothers ,we can be better and better6.The life of a blind peopleAs we all known,the blind person lives in the dark and couldn`nt see anyhing.You can imagine how bad it is and their life is filled with sorrow,unconvenience,hardship,maybe sometimes they get the laughter not the sympathy.The key of the issue is that they can not enjoy the visual colourful world and unfortunately, they do not have the ability of visualization permantely.I’m sure you won’t find it common that blindpeople use the Internet,walk without using handrail,let alone the special processing focuses more on sound,shape,texture and position,all things you can get without vision.The rely on the other senses,for example,instead of visualizing a ball as a round thing,you saw,they would visualize it as a round thing they touched.We can get their inner feelings from the Herry Kallen If I were granted three seeing days.It says Make the most of every sense;glory in all the facts of pleasure and beauty which the world reveals to you through the several means of contact which Nature provides.But of all the senses,I am sure that sight must be the most delightful.So we can understand the blind person eagerness of seeing world .We should respect them .。
