本模块第一单元就介绍贝蒂和同学游览长城的事情,通过给妈妈打电话的形式,贝蒂向妈妈介绍同学在长城上都正在做什么。

以此来表达贝蒂长城之旅的兴奋之情。

第二单元的课文是一则电视新闻报道,内容是电视台驻世界各地的记者在同一时间报道世界各地的人在做什么。

课文包含的知识十分丰富,其中最重要的就是有关时区知识的渗透。

总之,本模块的话题“同一个时间不同地区的人在做某事”与该模块的语法现在进行时十分契合。

教师应该设计不同的语言任务让学生充分感知、学习和理解现在进行时的用法和功能。

学情分析:初一(1)的学生活泼好动,英语课堂上善于积极表现,有较高的英语学习热情。

学生的小学英语基础较好,最大的特点是能用英语表达自己的观点,但在写的方面较为欠缺。

学生整体上的学习接受能力较好,能够较为出色的完成课堂学习任务。

教材整合:鉴于教材及学情的分析,教师对第九模块的内容进行了整合。

将第一单元与第单元的课文内容进行整合修改,把描述身处世界不同地区的人们正在做什么作为本节课的语言输出任务。

本节课是一节听说课,课本上提供的听力不能够满足学生的需要。

所以,教师根据对话内容的解读及学情来设计额外的听力练习。

教学目标:通过本课的学习,学生能够通过听力来识别不同的人在做什么;能够用现在进行时来描述身处世界不同地方的人在同一时间做什么。

教学重点:学生运用现在进行时的结构与用法。

教学难点:学生用现在进行时来描述身处世界不同地方的人在同一时间做什么。
