在备课时，我们重组了教材，先教学时间（Time），并进行与时间有关的知识拓展。

Unit 1主要内容是英语字母的整体呈现及ABC歌。要求学生能够会唱字母歌，整体认读英语字母，了解字母表顺序，能听懂会说对话。教师可以通过哼唱自己喜欢的歌，然后询问学生喜欢的歌来引出对话。学习字母时教师可以充分利用字母卡片，将字母卡片按字母顺序摆在教室前面，让学生有大概的了解，然后通过唱歌来熟悉字母顺序，并通过让学生制作字典，为动物排序，唱ABC歌等活动使学生了解字母顺序的功能，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，使学生喜欢学英语。教师还可以告诉学生在国外学生怎样称呼老师。

它的核心内容是“谈论对方的喜好”。
本课时教材中的Listen and point部分主要是学习meat﹑pass ﹑rice﹑noodles﹑mum﹑ fish ﹑milk和句型Do you like…？及肯定回答和否定回答。
Listen and say部分则是融和活动与复习巩固为一体Unit 1. Do you like meat?活动.Listen and find要求能够认知食物的单词，达到能读准其音、认清其形。

Unit 1 Big or small一、单元教学目标1.能力目标（1）能够描述自己和他人的情况。
如：I am happy. She is sad. …（2）能够询问别人的情况。
如：Are you happy?（3）能够听懂关于自己或者别人的个人情况的简单对话，并在交际活动中正确运用，而且完成Practice 1部分。
（4）能够听懂、会唱歌曲I am happy。
能够灵活替换歌词中的关于描写心情，外貌等等的这些形容词，和能够简单替换歌词中的人称等，编写一首新的歌谣。
2.知识目标（1）能够听、说、认读和理解Vocabulary的单词。
（2）能够理解和运用Target中的句型来描写人物的情况。
（4）能够理解Story并能模仿朗读。
（5）能够完成Activity的3个活动。
（6）了解Alphabet部分的字母h a g t在单词中的发音，并能熟练读出例词。
（7）能够正确在“四线三格”上正确书写八个单词。

二、学生分析三年级的小朋友所学到的英语知识比较少，只掌握了关于“打招呼”、“问答物品或动物”、“问答人物”“问年龄”等的语言知识。
本单元的知识对他们来说是全新的。
但是，由于本单元的话题是关于描写他们自身或者见到的物品的情况的，与他们自身的生活息息相关，因此，学生会有浓厚的学习兴趣。
三、单元内容分析1.本单元重点学习询问个人的心理情况或者高度的情况，因此在学习这个单元的过程中，要不定时地引出 Are you happy? Yes, I am. 和No, I’m not.这样的句子模式，2.能够描述个人或者他人，甚至动物，天气的情况等等。
其中难点有两个：（1）Vocabulary部分的单词中的short的读音，（2），在形容个人或者他人时be动词的相对应的变化2.Vocabulary 和Target 的学习效果是学生能否理解和掌握Story的关键，所以要为学生把好词汇关和句型关。
3.单元教学课时安排建议：三课时第一课时：Vocabulary ， Target & Practice1第二课时：Practice 2 ， Story & Song第三课时：Activity 123 & Alphabet第一课时一、教学目标和要求1.能听懂问句Are you happy? Yes, I am. No,I’m not.并能做出正确的回答，和能描写个人和他人的情况，特别是注意be 动词的运用。
2.能听、说、认读Vocabulary中的单词并能正确运用。
3.能完成Practice 1的练习。
二、教学重难点分析1、本课时的教学重点是Vocabulary部分的单词：happy, sad, big, small, tall , short, hot, cold.和Target的句子。
2、本课时的教学难点是：be动词的运用。
这是第二次在课本中出现be 动词的运用，教师在教学过程中要注意循序渐进，以上个学期中的he’s nine. She’s ten.这样的句式来带入这个单元的描写人物特征的单词，引导学生发现规律，同时在本单元中要强化训练。

2、教师要准备Xiaofang, brother, Gogo的头饰。
3、ppt.4、教师准备教学光盘或录音机。
四、教学步骤和建议一、warm up.1．Greeting, oral practice. Such as: How are you? Who’s she? How old are you? How old is she? What do you like? Do you like…? 等等的句子进行复习导入到新的内容中来。
2. song. “ she’s my mom.设计的意图：由于这是新学期的第一课，先让学生在一个轻松愉快的氛围中，慢慢地进入到英语的学习中来，同时也利用这首歌，然后引出这个单元的新的单词。
二、Presentation1.T show out a picture, and then ask: Who’s she? 让学生回答，同时老师引导学生利用图片上的she’s my mother. She’s happy, 来引出这个单元要学习的单词：happy。
2．检查学生单词的掌握情况，同时带入新的句型：I’m happy. She’s happy. He’s happy. We’re happy. They’re happy. You’re happy.3. 显示一张一个小孩哭的图片，然后问学生：Is he happy?, 让学生会用no 来回答，接着学习新的单词sad.4. 检查，把单词带到句子里面，同时让学生造句。
5.使用同样的方式，学习下面的六个单词，在学的过程中，引出一个新的句型：Are you ….? 用yes, I am . no ,I’m not。
来回答6．游戏：（mining game）让学生不发出声音，只用一个动作，让学生猜出这个单词，同时使用Are you …? 来进行猜谜游戏。
7．读单词，以小组的形式，让学生在小组中，组长检查组员的掌握情况。
三、巩固（Consolidation）Practice 1（1）听录音，标号码。
（2）要求学生能重复录音的内容，然后检查答案。
（3）全班学生跟录音重复句型，巩固所学知识。
四、小结（Summary）*教师引导学生小结本课时的知识要点：（1）形容词（happy sad 等等）（2）be动词的使用方法。
*教师表扬在本节课学习活动比赛中得分最高小组。
六、家庭作业和延伸(Homework and extension)（1）课后跟读Vocabulary和Target部分的录音三次，要求达到流利程度。
（2）画一张有关你的朋友或者你的图片，并进行描述。
教学反思：在进行这个新的单元的学习前，我先把上个学期的基本的内容进行了一个简单的提问和复习，让学生在一个有充分准备的这样的一个前提下进入新的单元的学习。
但是在学习新单元的过程中，还是没有很好地关注到所有学生的掌握情况，在完成了单词的学习后，没有再次地检查，这个在下一课时要再对学生在be 动词的使用方法上还要加强练习第二课时一、教学目标和要求1 能够理解Story并能模仿朗读。
2 能够听懂、会唱歌曲I am happy。
能够灵活替换歌词中的人称及表达情感或者外貌的单词。
3能完成Practice 2的练习。
二、教学重难点分析1本课时的教学重点是story部分。
2本课时的教学难点是：模仿story 编个小对话。
