【教学目标】通过学习让学生熟练掌握位置关系和地点名称的英文单词,它们是:next to,between,in front of,post office, gift shop, park, photo shop, cafeteria, rest room, library, laundry, book store, hospital, theater, supermarket等。

并能灵活运用所学英语进行问路和指路,并能对具体的位置关系进行进一步描述It’s in front of/be tween…。

 本课是学习有关旅游方面的知识,以句型为主,
 二.说目标
 根据英语课程标准的要求,我确立了以下教学目标。

 1知识目标:能够学会四会单词并能听、说、认读本课对话。

 2能力目标:能够在实际生活中运用本课所学知识进行交流.
 3情感目标:培养学生认真学习的好习惯和主动求知意识.
 教学重点:三个四会单词
 教学难点:对所学知识在实际生活中的运用.

 为了达到教学目标,我利用多媒体创设情境采用多样化的教学手段将听说读写容为一体,从学生们熟悉的地方导入,符合从生活中学习英语的原则。

 四说教学流程

 (2)创设语境、感受新知

《Where Is the Gift Shop?》教学设计哈尔滨市育红小学王岩一、教材分析本课时内容选自EEC小学英语教材五年级下册《Lesson 5 Where Is the Gift Shop?》 Let’s have fun 2 。

本课故事对话讲述了正在Wonder Land旅行的主人公Sandy 一家,在由于找不到礼品店而问路时发生的一小段故事对话。

你想知道他们能到礼品店吗?他们在谁的帮助下才能找到礼品店呢?二、学情分析本课时是EEC教材小学英语五年级下册第五课第三课时,教学内容是:学习问路和指路的相关表达。

五年级的学生经过三年级和四年级的英语学习,已经具备了一定的语言学习能力和学习方法,并且储备了一些关于问路和指路的语言知识。

比如,在四年级下册的学习中,学生已经掌握了公园,书店,医院,邮局等场所的名称,以及询问地点的用语——Where’s the post office? 和回答语——It’s over there. 这些都为本课时的学习内容——如何问路和指路,打下了良好的基础。

在本课中出现的地点名词gift shop比较容易掌握,不过gift中字母i的发音,可能有的学生会将短元音【i】说成双元音【ai】。

还有straight中字母组合ai的发音,应该是双元音【ei】,可能有的学生会将其说成短元音【i】。

对于学生在发音上存在的困难,老师首先在呈现单词时就要及时示范发音,有侧重地强调这些易错的音。

同时在板书上呈现单词时可以将gift中的i和straight中的ai用红色标出。

对于学生在说这些单词时,如果把音说错了,老师要及时进行纠正。

另外,如何进行具体的指路以及如何结合实际情况应用相关表达,是学生初次接触到的内容,因此需要通过PPT中动画的图示帮助学生理解,通过操练、应用等教学环节帮助学生掌握和运用。
