因此，本节课以学生Fun2中对礼物商店的位置描述和四年级下册第七课的句型和词汇为知识底数，进一步扩展词汇，进行更流畅丰富的交流。
【教学目标】通过学习让学生熟练掌握位置关系和地点名称的英文单词，它们是：next to，between，in front of，post office, gift shop, park, photo shop, cafeteria, rest room, library, laundry, book store, hospital, theater, supermarket等。
并能灵活运用所学英语进行问路和指路，并能对具体的位置关系进行进一步描述It’s in front of/be tween…。

本课是学习有关旅游方面的知识，以句型为主，

根据英语课程标准的要求，我确立了以下教学目标。

2能力目标:能够在实际生活中运用本课所学知识进行交流.
3情感目标:培养学生认真学习的好习惯和主动求知意识.

为了达到教学目标,我利用多媒体创设情境采用多样化的教学手段将听说读写容为一体，从学生们熟悉的地方导入，符合从生活中学习英语的原则。

(2)创设语境、感受新知

《Where Is the Gift Shop?》教学设计哈尔滨市育红小学王岩一、教材分析本课时内容选自EEC小学英语教材五年级下册《Lesson 5 Where Is the Gift Shop?》 Let’s have fun 2 。
本课故事对话讲述了正在Wonder Land旅行的主人公Sandy 一家，在由于找不到礼品店而问路时发生的一小段故事对话。
你想知道他们能到礼品店吗？他们在谁的帮助下才能找到礼品店呢？二、学情分析本课时是EEC教材小学英语五年级下册第五课第三课时，教学内容是：学习问路和指路的相关表达。
五年级的学生经过三年级和四年级的英语学习，已经具备了一定的语言学习能力和学习方法，并且储备了一些关于问路和指路的语言知识。
比如，在四年级下册的学习中，学生已经掌握了公园，书店，医院，邮局等场所的名称，以及询问地点的用语——Where’s the post office? 和回答语——It’s over there. 这些都为本课时的学习内容——如何问路和指路，打下了良好的基础。
在本课中出现的地点名词gift shop比较容易掌握，不过gift中字母i的发音，可能有的学生会将短元音【i】说成双元音【ai】。
还有straight中字母组合ai的发音，应该是双元音【ei】，可能有的学生会将其说成短元音【i】。
对于学生在发音上存在的困难，老师首先在呈现单词时就要及时示范发音，有侧重地强调这些易错的音。
同时在板书上呈现单词时可以将gift中的i和straight中的ai用红色标出。
对于学生在说这些单词时，如果把音说错了，老师要及时进行纠正。
另外，如何进行具体的指路以及如何结合实际情况应用相关表达，是学生初次接触到的内容，因此需要通过PPT中动画的图示帮助学生理解，通过操练、应用等教学环节帮助学生掌握和运用。
