而中国的不断对外开放，也使英美影视不断涌入中国电影市场。
其中不乏有许多优秀的电影。
比如当今颇为热门的“蝙蝠侠”、“超人归来”、“猫女”……或者是经典老片“泰坦尼克号”、“超人”、“卓别林”的哑剧……对于这些影视作品的欣赏其实也是一种享受、一种对现实生活的品味、一种对自身灵魂的释放。
通过电影我们还可以使学生直接了解到国外当今以及历史上的语言的发展、历史、文化、建筑等多方面的社会状况。
为提高学生的学习兴趣拉近国与国之间的距离有身临其境之感。
所以我选择了“英美影视欣赏”作为我们的课题。

在我看来，这部电影十分好看，感觉很悲伤，为里昂的单纯感到心痛，对坏人的可恶感到愤怒。
但是，里昂那朦胧的爱情实在让我感动，虽然很讨厌那女孩的无知让里昂最终惨死。

最后，里昂为救独自去报仇的玛利达大闹警局，杀死警员，扫毒组头目开始害怕，调动特警队包围了里昂住的公寓，里安与几百名警察周旋，并成功救回玛利达并帮助她从通风管道逃走。
自己最后与扫毒组头目同归于尽，为玛利达报了仇。
影片最后结尾，玛利达到了福利院重新生活，并把里安生前最喜欢的绿萝从盆栽中移植到土地里。
本片是一部寻常的警匪片。
但是，吕克贝松巧妙的加入了一个玛利达的角色，这个12岁的小童星很好的展示了自己的演技，将一个幼稚却坚毅的女孩形象表现的淋漓尽致。
而影片后半段里安和玛利达的那种彼此不分离的跨越年龄的爱情更是为影片奠定了凄婉的基调。

Once on the inside however, his loyalties to the humans start to turn when his heart gets lost to the Na'vi princess Neytiri. Is he willing to fight on the blue side now?The landscape of Pandora is the most creative and inventive of the decade. There are creatures that you might find in your wildest dreams or your worst nightmares. There is flora and fauna that shine with the bioluminescence of a thousand deep sea critters, and also trees which dwarf the Empire State Building.I guess the only noticeable problem with Avatar, is a lack of original story. What you see on the screen will blow you away, but all the tough critics, may come down a bit on the fact that despite being the latest in film technology, Cameron uses a very old archetypal formula, perhaps just a bit too schematic. There are a few badly scripted segments of dialogue, but nothing that makes you wanna blow raspberries at the screen.What is most important is the fact that Cameron's story gets the viewer involved and offers a handful of memorable and likable characters to root for, and some to root against. First, Pip desires moral self-improvement.He is extremely hard on himself when he acts immorally and powerful guilt spurs him to act better in the future. The success accomplished by conquering all the difficulties and painstaking effort was real success. Great Expectations encompassed almost every aspect of the human condition. It was enlightening and thought-provoking.The third theme is the goodness of Oliver in Olive Twist. Oliver Twist, another one of the most famous works of Charles Dickens‟, is a novel reflecting the tragic fact of the life in Britain in the 19th century. As we know, the author, Charles Dickens, himself was born in a poor family. It‟s only when he was in the twenties that he wrote this novel. By writing this book, he wanted to reveal the ugly masks of those cruel criminals and to expose the horror and violence hidden underneath the narrow and dirty streets in London.The movie tells the story about Oliver Twist, a little boy and an orphan. He was born in the workhouse, and his mother died soon after he was born. Later, he was sent to the asylum. Then he was like be thrown into a world full of poverty and crime. He suffered a lot of pain, such as hunger, thirst, beating and abuse. Finally, he met a good man, Mr. Brownlow, who helped him a lot. And then he had a better life.When I was watching, I kept asking myself, “How can such a little boy suffered so much difficult? How can he remain kind and pure in mind after he had experienced oppressive affliction? How can he achieve that all? ” Gradually, I find that the reason is goodness in his soul that makes it. The author believes that goodness is a thing that can conquer every difficulty. It was the reason of goodness that Oliver could walk seven days to London and didn‟t die. It was the reason of goodness that Oliver could run away from the gang of thieves. And it was goodness which made it possible that Oliver met a gentleman Mr. Brownlow and had a better life.However, nowadays more and more people tend to doubt the existence of the goodness in humanity. They look down on people‟s honesty and kindness, thinking it unnecessary and foolish of people to be warm-hearted. As a result, they show no sympathy to those who are in trouble and seldom offer to help others. On the other hand, they attach much importance to money and benefit. In their opinion, money is the only real object while emotions and morality are nihility. If they cannot get profit from showing their …kindness‟, they draw back when ot hers are faced with trouble and even hit a man when he is down. They are one of the sorts that I really detest.In my opinion, although a person‟s beauty on the face can make others once feel that one is attractive and charming, if his or her mindisn‟t the same beautiful as the appearance, when others find that the beauty was not true, they won‟t like the person any more. For a long time, only a person‟s great virtue, a noble soul, a beautiful heart can be called as everlasting. I can feel that how beauty really is, as we are all fleshly men, so we can‟t distinguish whether a man is of nobleness or humbleness, but as there are great differences in our souls, and from that, we can know that whether a man is noble or ordinary, and ever obscure, that is, whether he is beautiful or not.To summarize, we can say that, a person without goodness is destined to lose everything. From the movie Oliver Twist, I learn about goodness. And I do hope that in the coming days, I can follow his example and moreover, I can influent more people.The forth theme is the love and care in Olive Twist. Charles Dickens once said that, “Love makes the world go around.” Those figures whom Dickens created in the novel, Oliver Twist, showed great love and care to others. And they are really what kind of person we need in life. I am deeply moved by those people.Mr. Brownlow is one such person. Oliver was an orphan and was forced to live with a gang of thieves. One day when one of Mr. Brownlow‟s elaborate watches was stolen by two skilled teenage thieves, he thought it was Oliver that had done it because he was the only one nearby after the theft had taken place. Being angry, he caught Oliver, andsent him to the police station. Fortunately for him, Oliver was proved innocent by one onlooker afterwards. With sympathy, Mr. Brownlow took the injured, poor Oliver to his own home. There Oliver lived freely and happily for some months as if he were Mr. Brownlow‟s own son. One day, however, Mr. Brownlow asked him to return some books to the bookseller and to send some money for the new books that he had already collected. The thief Oliver once stayed with kidnapped him. After that he disappeared in Mr. Brownlow‟s life. Searching for a while, Mr. Brownlow had to believe that he had run away with his money. But dramatically, they came across each other again a few years later. Without hesitation, Mr. Brownlow took Oliver home for the second time not caring if he had done something evil. Perhaps most of us would feel confused about Mr. Brownlow‟s re action. But as a matter of fact, this is just the lesson we should learn from him. Jesus said in the Bible. “Forgive not seven times, but seventy-times seven.” Why is that? Because forgiveness is our ability to remove negative thoughts and neutralize them so our energy may be spent on doing what we came here for. We cannot move forward in our future if past issues cloud our thinking. Stop put Mr. Brownlow into the list of your models. Always give people a second chance no matter what they might have done. T hat‟s also a substantial part of loving and caring others.Then there are Mrs. Maylie and Rose, Oliver‟s other benefactors. Inmy point of view, it was trust that they loved Oliver. They had faith in Oliver when he was considered to be a filthy burglar who tried to break the front door of Maylie‟s at midnight. But this wasn‟t how these two ladies saw the whole thing. They denied Oliver‟s crime immediately and listened attentively to Oliver‟s own description of his miserable life. They were deeply touched by Oliver‟s strong perseverance and astonishing vitality. Accordingly, they remedied Oliver‟s body and heart and turned him into a different boy. He began to wear appropriate and receive education.As far as we can see, it is trust that helps us all live together without precaution. Sometimes trust can even lead us to miracles, which we often expect to come about, so why not trust? Trust yourself, trust others, and you‟ll salute miracles every single day.Love and care contain many forms, including love of forgiveness, love of trust, etc. Let‟s enjoy our life and treat other people lovingly.In a word, the relationship between literature and movie is not only similar, but also influences each other. Literature can be wonderful expressed by the visual culture of the movie. What‟s more, by watching the two movies, I have some new different ideas and have a lot of harvest.I believe the movie, as one of the different art, will bring people more and more wonderful visual culture.。

11级教育2班1112010211 张欢The strategies of the film Forrest Gamp applied to encourage the audience to identify with the protagonist Forrest Gamp is a film which not only won a lot of awards but also favored by almost every audience who has ever saw it.In my opinion,its success should attribute to the strategies the film applied to encourage the audience to identify with Gamp and even fond of him.The film uses many strategies,and the most obvious one is exaggeration.The film magnifies some characters of Gamp which makes it easy for the audience to see what kind of person Gamp is.In the film,Gamp is stupid but simple,stubborn but indomitable.And he has many other good qualities which people are appreciated such as being honest and responsible.If all these traits are just listed one by one in the film through the conversation or ordinary stories,the audience won’t know exactly what Gamp is like and won’t get interested in him.So Gamp is made more stupid whose IQ is lower than the normal level.And because he is not so smart,he always thinks and behaves differently.Therefore all his silly actions can amuse the audience,meanwhile well-accepted.What’s more,it is because Gamp is more indomitable or even stubborn that he love Jenny with an unchangeable mind;it is because Gamp is more responsible and honest than others that he keep his every promise with Bubbu and lieutenant Dan. The second strategy is idealization.It seems similar to exaggeration but it is different and it helps to intensify the audience’s sense of identity.Some things happened in the film seems impossible in real life.For example,Gamp saves all his comrades out of the forest by himself,runs across America for 3 years without any trouble,and he owns the only shrimping boat after a storm.All these looks incredible,but the audience all wish they could happen in their life just as well as they hope they possess the good features of Gamp.The film combining the idealization with exaggeration,then audience get to understand Gamp’s character profoundly.Another strategy is using the famous and historical issues,such as the American Civil Rights movement, the Vietnam war, ping-pong diplomacy between China and America, the Watergate Scandal and other major political events.Gamp even meets three American presidents at different period.These historical issues occur in the real life,and everyone is familiar with them.When Gamp appears in those famous picture or involves in the issues,people may feel that Gamp is not a role in the film but a real person living close to them.In addition,the film also applies many pare Gamp with Jenny.We find that Jenny’s life is complicated.She likes freedom,rebels against the convention,and chases for the fame and vanity.At the same time,she suffers a lot with no aim and goal to lead her spiritual life.In the contrast,Gamp’s life is more simple but in a way he likes or out of his willingness.The audience can see the similaritiesbetween them and Jenny,because Jenny has many traits which the society made people have.They can feel the pain of Jenny,so they are more fond of the life of Gamp which they don’t have,and want to become some one like Gamp.Except these strategies,the film also use other ways to attract the audience.In a word,Forest Gamp is a successful and excellent film,worth to see over and over again,and we all can get something from it.The comments on the film The English PatientThe English Patient is the most distinctive and meaningful film I have ever seen.The film is a romantic film,but we can see it from various perspectives:love,morality and nationality.From each perspective,the film show us a world we are all at it,and hate or love it.Meanwhile,the film convey its ideas of love,attitudes towards morality and nationality.Love is one of the main theme in this film.Katharine is married women and his husband is Almásy’s friend.But Almasy and Katharine still choose to be together.If this happen in real life,we would open our mouth and use tough words to condemn them of their immorality.However,when it comes to the film,we see the experiences and hardships they undergo together and we can feel that they have the features attracted each other.Then we may easily come to the conclusion that though the love between them is immoral,it is natural.and they seem fell in their love uncontrollably by a invisible spring of the fate.Their love experiences are complicated and full of struggle.And in the end,Katharine dies in the cave they discovered in the desert before Almasy could save her by overcoming great difficulties.When Almasy finally comes to the cave and finds Katharine’s death,he is in deeply mourn.The audience then ignored the immoral part of their behavior but moved by their love and misery.In the contrast,there is another romantic love story in the film that is between a poor nurse Hana and a bomb hand kip.Their love is not as great and complex as Almasy and Katharine’s,but their love is full of positive effects and happiness which associated with their ordinary life.And love brings Hana who had lost her dear boyfriend and companion in the war into a bright and positive world again.This kind of love seems ordinary but it shows us how love works to cure the pain in one’s heart and gives people hope.What’s more,there are other kinds of love exist:the love a nurse had towards her patient which is selfless;the love a army had towards his nation and people which is sincere.No matter what kind of love the film want to show us,we know that love is so precious.As for the morality,the film gives us many examples.It shows the immoral love between Katharine and Almasy.Their love affair do have some charming points,but the result turns to be so misery that prove its unacceptance in conventional world. And another example is Almasy give the map to German army though he do not care about that but it do cause himself many troubles. The film don’t use direct words to show itsopinion on those immoral behavior,but in the end they all get punished.But as a romantic film,it weaken the harmful effects of immorality just to express a reality: everything else seems trivial compared to love.From the perspective of nationality,we can find two totally different views in the film:one is the armies strongly stand against other countries and focus on national identity;the other is from Almasy and Katharine while at the desert,they all love a world with no boundaries.However the nationalities is what human set for themselves,and in the very beginning of the world,people live with one single and the same identity.When we see that Almasy is caught and put into a train because of his name which sounds like a German,and lost the chance to rescue Katherine,we show sympathy to him and bear a hatred to the effect that setting of nationality brings.The most unforgettable part in The English Patient,in my opinion,is the last diary of Katharine left to Almasy.It show how beautiful and powerful love is and leave a hope that one day the map of the earth can disappear.。
