因此，使用《剑桥少儿英语》教材对教师提出的基本要求是：1.要重视语言环境与英语学习的一致性。
2.弱化“英语课”的概念，强化学习英语的无意识性。
教师可根据不同时间，地点和环境，灵活地选择教学内容，尽可能地把英语学习融入恰当的环境和活动中。
3．重视英语学习过程的情景迁移。
情景迁移是指在某个情景中学会的话语，改换到其他情景中说4.要大量输入英语语言信息。
教师要大量输入英语语言信息，，在教学中经常采用扩充原则，即围绕学习的重点内容，根据少儿的水平，进行相关词和句型的适当扩展。
5.注重情感因素，注重树立少儿信心。
6.要使英语教学成为促进少儿全面发展的教育活动二、《剑桥少儿英语》教材课堂教学的原则1．指令交代清楚。
2. 让每个孩子参与到活动之中。
3. 合理组织教学。
在教学过程中，教师应对每个环节有一定的时间控制。
4. 平等的座位摆放。
三、《剑桥少儿英语》教材课堂教学主要环节1.热身运动在教授新课之前，教师可以带着孩子先做一些简单的活动，可以唱首歌曲，可以做做体操，时间尽量控制在五分钟之内。
2.简单复习采用问答的形式对上节课的内容作个简单的复习，注意反复的操练。
3.讲授新课教师要抓住少儿有效听课的十几分钟，尽量把新的知识有效地传递给少儿。
注意“总-分-总”的程序，要让少儿从整体上把握单词和句型，其次就是分别的练习。
游戏和活动的安排要紧紧围绕着所学的新知识，用多种方法反复操练，使少儿对新知识熟悉，直到接受。
4.总的复习教师要对所学的知识做个简单、系统的复习。
5.精彩结束精彩的结束很重要，教师要做个非常精彩的游戏，当然也是围绕所学的内容，最好让所有的孩子都参与的活动，让大家开开心心地结束。
