教学过程:
1.Introduction——热身导入,创设情境
A.Warming up:
(1)Play a game,Brain Strom(family members,animals)
Teacher gives two clues,and each student says one word in groups in 30 seconds.
(2)Review the new words of this story.
B. Lead in ——What can you get from the cover?
2.Presentation——自主探究,合作交流
A.Read page24 after the tape and think about the question: What happened in Uncle Noah’s dream?
B.Skim page25-27 and find the answers of the questions:
①What is the ark made of?
②What do they bring to the ark?
B.Listen to the tape and fill in the blanks.(Who are on the boat?)
C.Self-study.(Skan page29-32 and cirle the important information )
①The changes of the weather.
②How do they feel about this storm?(Teacher asks the students to finish the form)
D.Group-work (Underline the ways they look for the land)
Q1:How do they find the land?
Q2:Do they find the land at last?
3.Practice(read in roles)
4.Production——检测训练,拓展延伸
