学生练习后,让小朋友回到座位上,教师拿出外国小朋友的图片或照片对大家说:“Look, I‟ve got many foreign children. Do you want to know their names? Let‟s meet them one by one.”教师拿出一张小男孩的照片或图片:“This is Ben .Say ‘Hello!’ to Ben.”教师学着Ben的声音对大家说:“Hello, boys and girls.I‟m Ben. 教师让大家说:“Hello, Ben.”教师接着说:“This is a boy‟s name. Do you like this name?” 如果班级里有男孩愿意使用这个名字,教师就叫男孩把Ben这个名字写在自己的课本上.后面的方式同上。
教师指着一个小朋友的名字说:“Now Zhang Nan has got two names. His Chinese name is Zhang Nan and his English name is Bill. Let‟s look at their names and say their names together.” 教师带着学生依次熟悉小朋友新得到的英文名字,同时也可复习本单元所需要学习和掌握的英文名字的读音。
如果本单元的名字不够,可以把本课本后面的名字也用上,这样可以使学生更好的巩固和学习英文名字,当学生在课本上遇到自己的名字时,也会很高兴.单元教学活动2 Activity.接下来,教师让小朋友做一个游戏。
教师对大家说:“Now let‟s play a game. I say, …Show me your pen.‟ You quickly take out your pen and show it to me. At first, I will show the things to you. You just follow me.”接着,教师用英语说:“Show me your ruler.”同时立刻把尺子拿出并举起来。
接着,教师依次说其他的文具用品。
但从第二遍开始,教师不拿东西,只说英语句子,看看哪个学生拿出的东西是正确的。
在此过程中,教师要适当地进行纠正,并用实物说明。
如果学生掌握得快,教师可以让某个学生到前面给大家发指令,其他同学一起做动作。
单元教学活动3 Make words.接着,教师对学生说:“ Now, please look at the blackboard.I‟m going to write a letter. Please read after me.”教师在黑板上写字母a,并发出[]的声音。
接着,教师继续写 ba,带着学生继续拼字母,最后写出bag,并带着大家念该单词的读音。
读音之后,教师再写出一个字母,对学生说:“Now can you say the sound?a → ba → bat 用类似的拼音方法,教师让学生朗读教材第一单元第三部分的读音。
单元教学活动4 Look, listen, read and learn.在学生熟悉第三部分自然拼音的方法后,教师可以让学生试着拼读第四部分的单词,并给出正确的读音。
单元教学活动5 Listen, write and read.在拼音和读音的基础上,教师让学生一起做练习五,听录音和写字母。
先听一遍,学生写字母。
再听一遍,学生自己检查一遍。
教师最后再把这道题的答案写在黑板上,让学生自己判成绩。
教师可以只写需要添加的字母。
学生可以边听边读,让学生自己来感受发音,然后再写出字母,通过听和读,学生更容易做出这个题目.学生写好后,教师稍加点评,如全部做对的同学举手,错一个的举手等。
教师可以给予小贴画作为鼓励。

单元教学活动7 Draw and say.下一步,教师对小朋友说:“Let‟s do something interesting . Look carefully. I‟m going to draw a boy on my finger. Look, the boy is on my finger. ”教师边说边画。
画好后,教师说:“Hello, I‟m Miss Liu. His name is Bill. Bill is my friend.”教师对学生说:“Now you can draw a face on your finger and give your friend a name. OK? You can draw it now.”教师开始让小朋友在自己的手指头上画小孩的头像。
等大家基本画完后,教师说:“Have you got a name for the little boy or girl? Please get him or her a name. listen to me.”教师再重复一遍刚才的内容,并说:“Who can come here and greet my friend?” 教师鼓励学生到前面来跟老师手上的小朋友打招呼。

说之前,教师可以将短语my friends, your friends, his friends, her friends, our friends, their friends写在黑板上,也可以只写变化的人称代词,而后面只写一个单词friends,用连线将它们连接。
在学生熟悉短语的情况下,教师再带着说歌谣,同时要注意纠正friends单词尾音的发音。
当然也可以把学生分成几个组,在说的时候,让学生站起来,一起做动作,例如:my 就指着自己,your就指着你等等.单元教学活动10 Let’s guess.第十部分是一个句型练习——Who is Sam‟s friend?教师可以先带着大家做游戏。
