T rouble-free design, easy operationThe Eaton Model 50 plug type duplex strainer's design is simple and economical. This high-quality strainer is, in fact, a pressure rated plug valve with integral straining baskets. To switch the flow from one basket to the other, the oper-ating handle moves through a 90-degree arc. Because of the unique port design in the diverter plug, it is impossible for this operation to stop the flow. The entire switching operation takes fewer than 30 seconds, no toolsrequired. Positioning the plug each time in exactly the right spot happens automatically by integral stops. Before operating the handle, a specially designed, manual lifting jack built into thestrainer, lifts the diverter plugoff its seat. After theswitching operation, the jack easily reseats the plug, even under high pressures.Because a built-in stop limits the distance the diverter plug rises, it minimizes the possi-bility of material bypassing the plug while rotated to divert flow. It also prevents debris from building up under the plug and making it diffi-cult to reseat.Other features• A quick, easy to open, swing-away yoke design cover goes back on just as fast as it came off • Standard NPT drain taps simplify the draining of the basket chamber • All sizes come withmounting legs for bolting the strainer to the floor for a rock solid installationFeatures• Continuous flow, no shutdown for basket cleaning • Rugged tapered plug design • Lift jack prevents galling of the plug • Quick open cover—no tools needed • Large capacity baskets • Threaded drain • Machined basket seat• Perforated or mesh 316 stainless steel basketOptions• Ductile iron construction• Basket perforations from 1/32" to 1/2"• Basket mesh from 20 to 400• MONEL ® baskets • Vent valves • Drain valves• Gauge/vent taps - 1/4" NPT • Magnetic basket inserts• Pressure differential gauge and switch connections • Viton ®, PTFE encapsulated or EPDM seals • Cast iron and stainless steel diverter plug• Sizes 5", 6", 8"• I ron, bronze, carbon steel or stainless steel• FlangedMONEL ® is a registered trademark of Special Metals Corporation group of Companies. 302 HF 无锈玻璃纤维粘合泥说明书
A 302 HF ADHESIVE PUTTYDESCRIPTION:A 302 HF is light blue putty formulated from unsaturated polyesters resins and glass fibers that gel and cure at room temperature by adding MEKP catalyst. This material may be used to bond different substrates. It is excellent putty for sanitary, transportation, nautical and general purpose applications.FEATURES AND BENEFITS:∙ A 302 HF is easily applied by using an appropriate tool such as spatula or a trowel.∙Formulated to use with MEKP catalyst.∙Excellent adhesion of fibreglass to fiberglass and wood to fiberglass.∙Fast gel time and excellent cure∙Color indicator to ensure proper catalyst mix.TYPICAL PROPERTIES (at 25°C or 77°F):These values may or may not be manufacturing control criteria; they are listed for a reference guide only. Particular batches will not conform exactly to the numbers listed because storage condition, temperature changes, age, testing equipment (type and procedure) can each have a significant effect on the test results. Putty with properties outside of these values can perform acceptably.TestStyrene Content, solids and more see MSDSViscosity Brookfield RVF #7 @ 20 rpm > 150 000 cpsThixotropic Index > 5Gel Time /1,25% MEC-EX* 12 - 18 minutesUncatalysed Color light blueShelf life 90 days*in 100 g massCURE:It is recommended that gel time be checked in the customer’s plant because age, temperature, humidity and catalyst will produce varied gel times. All data referencing gel or cure refers specifically to United Initiators MEC-EX @ 1,25%. Arkema DDM-9 catalyst, Norox MEKP-9H and Akzo Nobel CADOX D50 expected to yield similar performance. MEKP-925 catalyst of United Initiators, Akzo Nobel Cadox L-50A, Arkema DHD-9 and HP-90 can give a fast gel time and cure. The catalyst level should not exceed 2,0 % and not below 1,0% if use at room temperature. Recommended rate is 1.25% and optimal temperature is 25°C (77︒F). Do not use under 19°C (66︒F).A 302 HF ADHESIVE PUTTYWhen the part reaches ultimate cure depends upon time, temperature and satisfactory catalization. Too much or too little catalyst can result in permanent under-cure, which cannot be overcome. Practically speaking, serviceable cure time will range from overnight from a week and occasionally longer due to circumstances. Small, properly catalyzed, thin laminates that do not exotherm and do not receive external heat may take months or years to achieve ultimate physicals. Sufficient external heat can reduce the cure time to less than a dataSTORAGE:Standard cure putty have a usage life of 90 days from date of manufacture when stored at 22°C (73 F) or below in a closed, factory-sealed opaque container and out of direct sunlight. SHIPPING :Shipment is normally in lined 45-gallon (205 liters) and/or 4,4 gallon (20 liters).POLYESTER SAFETY INFORMATIONAll sales of products manufactured by Polynt Composites, and described herein are made solely on condition that Polynt Composites customers comply with applicable health and safety laws, regulations and orders relating to the handling of our products in the workplace. Before using, read the following information and both the product label and Material Safety Data Sheet pertaining to each product. Most polyester products contain styrene. Styrene can cause eye, skin and respiratory tract irritation. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Impermeable gloves, safety eyewear and protective clothing should be worn during use to avoid skin and eye contact. Wash thoroughly after use.Styrene is a solvent and may be harmful if inhaled. Reports have associated repeated and prolonged occupational overexposure to solvents with permanent brain and nervous system damage. Extended exposure to styrene at concentrations above the recommended exposure limits may cause central nervous system depression causing dizziness, headaches or nausea and if overexposure is continued indefinitely, loss of consciousness, liver and kidney damage.Do not ingest or breathe vapor, spray mists and dusts caused by applying, sanding, grinding and sawing polyester products. Wear an appropriate NIOSH/MSHA approved, properly fitted, respirator during application and use of these products until vapors, mists and dusts are exhausted, unless air monitoring demonstrates vapors, mists and dusts are below applicable exposure limits. Follow respirator manufacturer's directions for respirator use. The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has reclassified styrene as Group 2B "possibly carcinogenic to humans." This new classification is not based on new health data relating to either humans or animals, but on a change in the IARC classification system. The Styrene Information and Research Center does not agree with the reclassification and has published the following statement: Recently published studies tracing 50,000 workers exposed to high occupational levels of styrene over a period of 45 years showed no association between styrene and cancer, no increase in cancer among styrene workers (as opposed to the average among all workers), and no increase in mortality related to styrene.A 302 HF ADHESIVE PUTTYStyrene is classified by OSHA and the Department of Transportation as a flammable liquid. Flammable polyester products should be kept away from heat, sparks, and flame. Lighting and other electrical systems in the work place should be vapor-proof and protected from breakage.Vapors from styrene may cause flash fire. Styrene vapors are heavier than air and may concentrate in the lower levels of molds and the work area. General clean air dilution or local exhaust ventilation should be provided in volume and pattern to keep vapors well below the lower explosion limit and all air contaminants (vapor, mists and dusts) below the current permissible exposure limits in the mixing, application, curing and repair areas. If the label or Material Safety Data Sheet indicates lead or lead chromate is present, do not use on toys, furniture or surfaces that might be chewed by children. Wash hands thoroughly after using and before smoking or eating. Long-term overexposure by inhalation or ingestion of mists and dusts from products containing lead compounds and lead chromate can cause harmful effects to the urinary, blood, reproductive and nervous systems and may create risk of cancer. Use a respirator as explained in Paragraph 4 of this Information Sheet. Some polyester products may contain additional hazardous ingredients. To determine the hazardous ingredients present, their applicable exposure limits and other safety information, read the Material Safety Data Sheet for each product (identified by product number) before using. If unavailable, these can be obtained, free of charge, from your Polynt Composites representative or from: our office tel 819 477-4516Polyester products have at least two components that must be mixed before use. Any mixture of components will have hazards of all components. Before opening the packages, read all warning labels. Observe all precautions.Keep polyester containers closed when not in use. In case of spillage, absorb with inert material and dispose of in accordance with applicable regulations. Emptied containers may retain hazardous residue. Do not cut, puncture or weld on or near these containers.

IFRIC 6 is accompanied by a Basis for Conclusions. The scope and authority of Interpretations are set out in paragraphs 2 and 7–17 of the Preface to International Financial Reporting Standards.© IASCF2401IFRIC 6IFRIC Interpretation 6Liabilities arising from Participating in a Specific Market—Waste Electrical and Electronic EquipmentReferences•IAS8Accounting Policies, Changes in Accounting Estimates and Errors•IAS37Provisions, Contingent Liabilities and Contingent AssetsBackground1Paragraph 17 of IAS 37 specifies that an obligating event is a past event that leads to a present obligation that an entity has no realistic alternative to settling.2Paragraph 19 of IAS 37 states that provisions are recognised only for ‘obligations arising from past events existing independently of an entity’s future actions’.3The European Union’s Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WE&EE), which regulates the collection, treatment, recovery and environmentally sound disposal of waste equipment, has given rise to questions about when the liability for the decommissioning of WE&EE should be recognised. The Directive distinguishes between ‘new’ and ‘historical’ waste and between waste from private households and waste from sources other than private households. New waste relates to products sold after 13 August 2005.All household equipment sold before that date is deemed to give rise to historical waste for the purposes of the Directive.4The Directive states that the cost of waste management for historical household equipment should be borne by producers of that type of equipment that are in the market during a period to be specified in the applicable legislation of each Member State (the measurement period). The Directive states that each Member State shall establish a mechanism to have producers contribute to costs proportionately ‘e.g. in proportion to their respective share of the market by type of equipment.’5Several terms used in the Interpretation such as ‘market share’ and ‘measurement period’ may be defined very differently in the applicable legislation of individual Member States. For example, the length of the measurement period might be a year or only one month. Similarly, the measurement of market share and the formulae for computing the obligation may differ in the various national legislations. However, all of these examples affect only the measurement of the liability, which is not within the scope of the Interpretation.Scope6This Interpretation provides guidance on the recognition, in the financial statements of producers, of liabilities for waste management under the EU Directive on WE&EE in respect of sales of historical household equipment. 2402© IASCFIFRIC 6 7The Interpretation addresses neither new waste nor historical waste from sources other than private households. The liability for such waste management is adequately covered in IAS 37. However, if, in national legislation, new waste from private households is treated in a similar manner to historical waste from private households, the principles of the Interpretation apply by reference to the hierarchy in paragraphs 10–12 of IAS 8. The IAS 8 hierarchy is also relevant for other regulations that impose obligations in a way that is similar to the cost attribution model specified in the EU Directive.Issue8The IFR IC was asked to determine in the context of the decommissioning of WE&EE what constitutes the obligating event in accordance with paragraph 14(a) of IAS 37 for the recognition of a provision for waste management costs:•the manufacture or sale of the historical household equipment?•participation in the market during the measurement period?•the incurrence of costs in the performance of waste management activities?Consensus9Participation in the market during the measurement period is the obligating event in accordance with paragraph 14(a) of IAS 37. As a consequence, a liability for waste management costs for historical household equipment does not arise as the products are manufactured or sold. Because the obligation for historical household equipment is linked to participation in the market during the measurement period, rather than to production or sale of the items to be disposed of, there is no obligation unless and until a market share exists during the measurement period. The timing of the obligating event may also be independent of the particular period in which the activities to perform the waste management are undertaken and the related costs incurred.Effective date10An entity shall apply this Interpretation for annual periods beginning on or after1 December 2005. Earlier application is encouraged. If an entity applies theInterpretation for a period beginning before 1 December 2005, it shall disclose that fact.Transition11Changes in accounting policies shall be accounted for in accordance with IAS 8.© IASCF2403IFRIC 6 BCBasis for Conclusions onIFRIC Interpretation 6This Basis for Conclusions accompanies, but is not part of, IFRIC 6.BC1This Basis for Conclusions summarises the IFRIC’s considerations in reaching its consensus. Individual IFRIC members gave greater weight to some factors than to others.BC2The IFRIC was informed that the European Union’s Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WE&EE) had given rise to questions about when a liability for the decommissioning of WE&EE for certain goods should be recognised. The IFRIC therefore decided to develop an Interpretation that would provide guidance regarding what constitutes an obligating event in the circumstances created by the Directive.BC3The IFRIC’s proposals were set out in Draft Interpretation D10 Liabilities arising from Participating in a Specific Market—Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment, which was published in November 2004. The IFR IC received 22 comment letters on the proposals.BC4The Directive indicates that it is participation in the market during the measurement period that triggers the obligation to meet the costs of waste management.BC5For example, an entity selling electrical equipment in 20X4 has a market share of4 per cent for that calendar year. It subsequently discontinues operations and isthus no longer in the market when the waste management costs for its products are allocated to those entities with market share in 20X7. With a market share of0 per cent in 20X7, the entity’s obligation is zero. However, if another entityenters the market for electronic products in 20X7 and achieves a market share of3 per cent in that period, then that entity’s obligation for the costs of wastemanagement from earlier periods will be 3 per cent of the total costs of waste management allocated to 20X7, even though the entity was not in the market in those earlier periods and has not produced any of the products for which waste management costs are allocated to 20X7.BC6The IFRIC concluded that the effect of the cost attribution model specified in the Directive is that the making of sales during the measurement period is the ‘past event’ that requires recognition of a provision under IAS 37 Provisions, Contingent Liabilities and Contingent Assets over the measurement period. Aggregate sales for the period determine the entity’s obligation for a proportion of the costs of waste management allocated to that period. The measurement period is independent of the period when the cost allocation is notified to market participants. The timing of the obligating event may also be independent of the particular period in which the activities to perform the waste management are undertaken and the related costs incurred. Incurring costs in the performance of the waste management activities is a separate matter from incurring the obligation to share in the ultimate cost of those activities.2404© IASCFIFRIC 6 BC BC7Some constituents asked the IFRIC to consider the effect of the following possible national legislation: the waste management costs for which a producer is responsible because of its participation in the market during a specified period (for example 20X6) are not based on the market share of the producer during that period but on the producer’s participation in the market during a previous period (for example 20X5). The IFR IC noted that this affects only the measurement of the liability and that the obligating event is still participation in the market during 20X6.BC8The IFRIC considered whether its conclusion is undermined by the principle that the entity will continue to operate as a going concern. If the entity will continue to operate in the future, it treats the costs of doing so as future costs. For these future costs, paragraph 18 of IAS 37 emphasises that ‘Financial statements deal with the financial position of an entity at the end of its reporting period and not its possible position in the future. Therefore, no provision is recognised for costs that need to be incurred to operate in the future.’BC9The IFRIC considered an argument that manufacturing or selling products for use in private households constitutes a past event that gives rise to a constructive obligation. Allocating waste management costs on the basis of market share would then be a matter of measurement rather than recognition. Supporters of this argument emphasise the definition of a constructive obligation in paragraph10 of IAS 37 and point out that in determining whether past actions of an entity give rise to an obligation it is necessary to consider whether a change in practice is a realistic alternative. These respondents believed that when it would be necessary for an entity to take some unrealistic action in order to avoid the obligation then a constructive obligation exists and should be accounted for.BC10The IFR IC rejected this argument, concluding that a stated intention to participate in a market during a future measurement period does not create a constructive obligation for future waste management costs. In accordance with paragraph 19 of IAS 37, a provision can be recognised only in respect of an obligation that arises independently of the entity’s future actions. For historical household equipment the obligation is created only by the future actions of the entity. If an entity has no market share in a measurement period, it has no obligation for the waste management costs relating to the products of that type which it had previously manufactured or sold and which otherwise would have created an obligation in that measurement period. This differentiates waste management costs, for example, from warranties (see Example 1 in Appendix C to IAS 37), which represent a legal obligation even if the entity exits the market.Consequently, no obligation exists for the future waste management costs until the entity participates in the market during the measurement period.© IASCF2405。
