一、说教材

我所说的内容是人教版英语Go for it 八年级英语Unit5 What were you doing when the rainstorm came Section B 2a-2e,这节课主要学习的是一篇阅读文章，它体现了本单元的话题主题，其题目为 Do you remember what you were doing它讲述的是1968年4月美国的重要历史人物Martin Luther King被杀和2001年9月美国纽约世贸中心被恐怖份子摧毁这两个重要事件发生时，某些人正在做什么事情，文章主要渗透了语法过去进行时的用法，体现了本单元学生学习的重要内容。

二、说教学目标

本课的教学目标有：

知识目标：新单词passage, pupil, completely, shocked, silence, recently, terrorist, date, tower, truth

词组in silence, take down, at first

能力目标：让学生学会skimming and scanning 的技巧，培养快速获取文章信息的能力,

情感态度价值观目标：培养学生乐于助人，团结协作，竞争进取的品质三、说教学重、难点

本节篇章教学课重在分析文章结构，列提纲找中心意思，激活学生的听说读写技能，培养阅读能力并加强对过去进行时的理解与运用

四、说学情

八（8）班是一个活跃的班集体，接班教学以来学生学习英语的能力有进步，他们有一定的知识基础和水平可以让学生参加难度较大的交际活动，他们对知识的求知欲较强

愉快英语教学策略：小组表演愉快热身，英语歌曲热身

八、说教学过程

Step 1:Brainstorming (头脑风暴环节)

学生齐唱有关团队的英语歌曲热身You and me ---the more we get together----I am a little teaport----we would like to say

hello----greeting ----calming

Step 2:leading---in（导入环节）

呈现暴风雨的雷电声学生体验感悟暴风雨来临时的感觉进行想象what will you see what will you feel what is the weather like what will happen
