又到了一年考博准备报名时,去年11月我参加了东南大学2010年的考博,就此分享点英语感受。

我看过东南2006年以前的考博英语真题,感觉不太对我的路子,单选阅读难,但是考场上看到10年的英语试题时感觉“单选”和“阅读”都比较简单,我04年过的四六级,此后很少考英语考试,都感觉比较容易。

随便找本书,做做各个学校的真题就好(不少考题是重复了以前的真题,不一定是东南的,清华北大的很有参考意义),其余部分差不多。

唯独“汉译英”和“作文”部分出乎我的意料。

首先“汉译英”两个小题,第一个小题属于现代汉语,比较正常。

第二小题就比较变态了,部分大概原文如下:“我不敢走进大师的精神世界,因为据说大凡走尝试进大师精神世界的人都会迷失。

齐康先生宛如仙人,鹤发童颜,站在建筑艺术山峰之巅,撷天地之真善美,炼建筑艺术之仙丹。

”都是这个味的。

作文:plagiarism is often found in universities. houw do you think we author authority to prevent it. (大概是这样,意思没错了)听过考大家的抱怨,绝大多数考生对此的印象是:除了第一个单词不认识,其他都认识。

如果你也是这样,考场上是不是很悲剧?
我的建议:汉译英的那道题,估计工科考博的没几个人擅长,所以大家都很难翻译好,而且那道题的分值不多,尽量翻译下就好。

关键是作文,20分(应该没记错),不认识的话只能靠猜了,我也是猜的,至于怎么猜,大家都很聪明,应该不用我废话了,呵呵,反正考博考的一般是跟学校、学术现象联系紧密的话题。
