必修二Unit2 Olympic Games---Reading教案
设计思路:
本堂课是一节阅读课。
本堂课以在班级内部举行一场小型奥运会比赛的形式呈现。
在整个教学中,我将学生分成两组,分别代表两个国家,进行5个轮回的比赛,并决出最后的胜利者。
第一个轮回是Warming up,该部分通过一些选择题和连线题让学生了解奥运会的一些基本知识。
第二轮回是Pre-reading and Extensive Reading,该部分通过听课文让学生获取整篇文章的主旨大意,并明了整篇文章的结构。
第三轮回是Intensive Reading,该部分通过阅读课文并填空的方式,让学生了解古代和现代奥林匹克运动会的异同点,该部分旨在通过寻读找出这些异同点,培养学生捕捉文章细节信息的能力。
第四轮回是Consolidation,该部分通过巩固练习检测学生对整篇文章的掌握情况。
第五轮回是Interview activity,该部分通过两人一组采访活动,让学生学会独立灵活的运用所学语言,这一部分是对课文内容的拓展和深化。
在整个教学活动中,学生从听、说、读,写四个方面积极主动地学习。
整个教学设计是让学生在比赛竞争中学习本节课,这样既能提高学生学习的积极性和主动参与意识,又让他们对奥运会比赛有一种身临其境的真实感受。
这一设计符合新课标的理念。
教材分析:
本单元的中心话题是“奥运会”-----世界上最重要的体育盛会。
本篇文章通过一个虚拟的采访----两千年前希腊作家帕萨尼亚斯(Pausanias)与一位当代中国女孩李燕(Li Yan)的对话,向学生介绍了古代和现代奥运会的相似点、不同点及奥运会的一些基本情况。
教学目标:
知识目标:让学生了解古代和现代奥运会的一些基本情况以及古代和现
代奥运会的异同点。
能力目标: 1.让学生进一步熟悉、掌握一些阅读技巧,如快速寻找文章细

The Olympic Games are the biggest sports meeting in the world, which include two kinds, the Summer and the Winter Olympics. Both of them are held every four years. All countries can take part if their athletes reached the standard to the games. It’s a great responsibility and a great honour to host the Olympic Games. It is still about being able to run faster, jump higher and throw further .
Step5: Interview activity:
Show the information about Michael Phelps, Isinbayeva and Liu Xiang.
Imagine you have a chance to interview one of them or someone else.
Who will you choose ?
Work in pairs for the interview.
One plays the part of the hero and the other plays the part of the interviewer.
