四、学情分析
授课对象为某中学高一某班。该班为文科班,女生居多,学生整体较为内敛,表现自己的意愿不够明显。大部分学生的英语成绩处于中等偏下水平,英语基础薄弱,词汇量很小。整体而言,该班学生能用英语提取、处理信息,简单表达自己的观点。经过对该模块Introduction部分关于古老中国著名建筑的学习,学生积累了相关词汇及表达,但仍欠缺文本分析能力、将所学的语言知识运用迁移到具体情境中的能力,同时还需要提高逻辑性思维与自主学习深度思考能力。
五、文本分析
该阅读课文选自外研社版高中英语必修三Module 6: Old and New,是一篇介绍三峡大坝的说明文。本文共有5个段落,作者在第一段通过毛泽东《水调歌头·游泳》中“更立西江石壁,截断巫山云雨,高峡出平湖”这句诗词引出本文主题:三峡大坝。第二段从功能、大小、成本、地位四个方面对三峡大坝的基本信息进行介绍。第一、二段介绍了三峡大坝的基本情况,即回答了【What】的问题。第三段将发电方式进行今昔对比,凸显以水力发电的三峡大坝在清洁空气、减少全球变暖两方面的优势,这也是修建三峡大坝的原因,即解决了【Why】的问题。第四段以列数字的方式阐释了三峡大坝对沿岸城市、村庄、居民所造成的影响,如村庄的淹没以及周边居民被迫永久搬离住处。第五段通过举例子的写作手法来讲述大坝的修建淹没了周边的历史遗址或者被搬迁至他处。第四、五段介绍了三峡大坝对人们生活、社会发展产生的影响,是对文章深层意义的探索,即回答了【How】的问题。

指导依据:本课的总体设计思路以《普通高中英语课程标准》中规定的高中英语课程的总目标为依据:“高中英语课程的总目标是使学生在义务教育阶段英语学习的基础上,进一步发展综合语言运用能力。综合语言运用能力的形成建立在语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识等素养整合发展的基础上。”
整体设计思路:本节课在设计上体现了听说读写四种技能的综合运用。课前通过歌曲《三峡情》和学生用英语就travel的对话导入本单元模块中心话题“The Three Gorges Dam”,并充分利用了现代多媒体教学手段,让学生观看三峡大坝的图片,通过创设真实的教学情境,让从没有看到过三峡大坝的高原学生对其有所感受,唤起了学生求知的欲望,阅读的热情。阅读部分采用了任务型教学的方式,让学生体验和运用语言。随后将听说结合起来,让学生懂得如何谈论这一建设的利弊的情况。接着通过小组合作的形式,在生动的应用活动中理解所学的知识并解决实际问题,同时促进语言知识、交际技能与情感体验的衔接。最后给学生布置了有关都江堰的写作任务。通过教师化妆扮演一个导游Mr Jenney,学生充当三峡大坝一日游的游客提出问题,“Do you know the largest dam in the world? What is it?”导出新课。这里教师的表演要有一定的趣味性。
一、教材分析

更多关于这一建设的利弊的情况。练习速度和略读并掌握重要的语言知识。本课是出自外研社高一必修3 M6 The Three Gorges Dam的一节阅读课,是本模块教学的第二课时,由Reading and vocabulary 部分构成,围绕着本单元模块的中心话题“The Three Gorges Dam”,课标要求通过学习不仅增进学生对我国近年来最重要的并给我们带来很大便利的基础建设之一-----三峡大坝的了解,而且学生能够得到更多关于这一建设的利弊的情况,开阔眼界,增强民族自豪感。练习速读和略读、掌握重要的语言点,并完成四个相关练习。
二、学情分析
我所任教学生英语水平参差不齐,一部分学生对英语学习的兴趣浓厚,英语基础很好,能积极参与课堂教学;而部分学生却是被动学习,缺少兴趣,英语基础差,他们不愿张口表达自己。因此在教学中应增加趣味性,以激发学生的兴趣;并采用任务型教学法,以小组活动形式,可以带动全体学生参与学习。

3、情感与价值:通过本节课学习,让学生对三峡大坝工程有更深入的了解,并且作为未来世界的建设者,对其渗透爱国主义教育和“环保意识”的教育理念,增强其对社会的责任感。
四、教学重点:帮助学生更好的理解文章;并掌握一些重要的语言知识。
