B.掌握语言结构:Who is the oldest/fattest in your class?

Who jumps highest of the three?

2.过程与方法:采用做动作等热身活动导入教学,并能根据具体情景进行语言操练。

3.情感态度与价值观:让学生在一定的语言环境中学会用最高级表达句子,体现英语学用结合的特点。

重、难点即考点分析最高级的两种表达方法:

1、be+the+最高级

2、实义动词+最高级

Step 1 Warming up

Hello. Every one! Let’s play a game. I say you

Step 2 Presentation

1、复习形容词比较级变化规律,同时指出最高级变

化规律其方法与比较级相同,在词尾加上est。

2、Let three students act as Tom,

Jim ,Jack. Leading to the topic

sentences.

①——Who jumps highest, Tom, Jim or Jack?

——Jack jumps highest of the three.

②——Who is the tallest of the three?

——Jack is the tallest of the three.

Teacher asks and answers by oneself some

times. Then teacher asks, let students answer.

③T: Who is the fattest Tom, Jim ,Jack?

S: Tom is the fattest of the three. (师生

操练)

④T: Who is the tallest of the three?

S: Jim is the tallest of the three. (师生操练)

Step 3 Drill

Teacher shows the cards of words.

Let students make sentences.

Let students listen to the tape and read after the tape some times.

Let students practise in pairs.

Let students practise in groups.

Step 4 Practice

Let students say some sentences freely.

1.Who studies best in our class?

2.Who sings best in our school?

3.Who runs fastest in our school?

业布置Let students listen to the tape and recite the topic sentences.

重难点及考点巩固性练习形容词的最高级在使用时,前面通常加定冠词the,并有一个短语或从句表示在哪个范围内情况如此。

用所给词的适当形式填空。

Who jumps (high) in your class? Who runs (fast) in your class? Who is (fat) in your class?

Who is (old) in your class?
