There were tons of families and school groups waiting in line to get in. Finally it was our turn and we went through the big doors into the lobby.The first thing we saw was the biggest complete T-Rex skeleton I've ever seen! It was towering over us, with its massive head and teeth bared like it was going to eat us. My little sister Emma got scared and wanted to leave, but I thought it was awesome. Our dad said it was 67 million years old and one of the best preserved T-Rex specimens ever found. Sweet!Next we went into the dinosaur halls. When the final bell rang, I ran out of the classroom cheering "Woohoo, summer vacation is finally here!" No more waking up early, no more homework, no more tests for two whole months. Just playing, relaxing, and having fun all day every day. When we finally made it to Florida, I was just so psyched.My grandparents have a really nice house and backyard near the beach. We spent a few days just hanging out with them, relaxing by the pool, and going to the beach to swim and build sandcastles.
