一、说教材。
1、教材内容本单元的话题是健康，重点学习“关于几种常见疾病”的短语，在一定的情景下正确运用“I feel very bad.what’s wrong with you?---I have a headache/cold/cough……”等句型进行交谈。
通过活动培养学生的英语交流能力，让学生们体验学习过程的快乐。

2、教学目标根据《英语课程标准》的教学理念、陕旅版英语教材的特点以及五年级学生的实际情况，我将本课时的教学目标确立为：知识目标：能听、说、读、写本课六个有关疾病的短语；能结合句型what’s wrong with you? ---I have a headache/cold/cough……，熟练运用所学短语。
能力目标：通过操练，培养学生综合运用语言的能力。
情感目标：鼓励学生在体验、感知与参与中培养小组合作精神；培养学生重视身体健康的意识。
3、教学的重、难点能熟练运用所学有关“疾病”的短语。
二、说学情小学五年级学生，虽然已经有了一定的英语学习基础，但由于各方面的原因，我们的学生的英语水平其实是非常的参差不齐的，根据自己平日的教学实践，每个班的学生在英语课上，可以分为“少数的优秀生”“大部分的努力生”以及“个别的门外生”。
要按照英语课上要多说英语以培养学生语感的要求去上课的话，可能会出现大多数学生都听不懂的状况。
