Analysis of students:The teaching object is just to the students of Grade Eight. The students have serious polarization phenomenon, they are lazy, and they can’t review and consolidate their learning contents in time. During the process of teaching, the teacher must attract the interest of students, arouse the students’ learning enthusiasm, and change passive learning into active learning. I take different requirements for different students. 四．Teaching aims1. Knowledge goal1) Read, understand and use the new words and phrases: advantage, simple, cause, less, aside, attack, web, steal, banking, properly, in seconds, far away, aside from, take up, be harmful to, steal from, open up, stay in touch with.2) Understand the text clearly and describe good things and bad things about the Internet.3) Ask the students to use the Internet in right ways, don’t let it take up all of your time.2. Teaching strategy:According to the characteristics of students, I use picture introduction method, make full use of multimedia technology and attract students’ interest in learning. This course mainly adopts the teaching method, heuristic conversation method and group cooperation in the form of teaching.八.Teaching process:Step1. Lead-in and warm upShow the pictures of African students and the South Pole, then ask the students, “Where do these students live? What’s this?”After the students answer, the teacher explains: Though they are far away from us, with the Internet, we can meetthem in seconds, and it can take us there.
