一.教材内容分析
本模块以谈论伟人和他们的著作为话题,且该 话题为学生所熟知,非常有利于开展听、说、读、写 方面的语言实践活动。通过操练,使学生能够读懂有 关评价名著的对话和文章,在掌握语言结构的同时, 既学习了语言知识,感悟了语言功能,又能拓展知识 面。在教学过程中我们应随时随地以课本为出发点, 灵活利用各种素材组织教学过程和内容,充分调动 各个层次学生学习英语的积极性。本节语法重点是 一般现在时的被动语态的用法, 通过学习使学生对 其结构及用法能够正确理解、和运用。
设计意图: 通过设置英汉互译练习题来检查第二单元的词汇识记情况, 让学生用一般现在时的被动语态结构造句这将有助于学生 复习和掌握新学语法的要领,做到“温故而知新”。
(二)读前导入
首先通过一个简短《汤姆索亚历险记》开头视频让 学生初步了解这本书的主人公、作家等信息。
接着向学生们展示《汤姆索亚历险记》这本书和书 中几幅重要情节图片并问 “What happens to Tom in the book?”让学生了解这本书的主要故事情节, 继而在小组内用所给词汇讨论图片。同时,这一活 动也为下一个环节的“阅读短文,获取信息”做了 充分的准备。

二.学情分析
学生在以前已经学习和掌握了主动语态和八种 时态, 而本模块要在此基础上要学习一般现在时态 的被动语态, 对学生来说难度不大。而本模块中 “汤姆.索亚历险记”名著和作者也为学生所熟知, 非常贴近学生的兴趣和生活,容易调动学生参与活 动的积极性, 使得学生有话可说, 乐于合作分享。 这样就有利于他们更好的运用课本知识,达到提高 综合运用语言能力的目的。
