One Sunday, I was reading my book while it suddenly occurred to me that it was my mother birthday the next day. However, I forgot it complete. I was worried that I didn’t prepare any present to her. At that moment, idea of online shopping came to my mind. I clicked the mouse and search some famous shopping websites. Having compared the price of many dress, I chose one with a reasonable price which I supposed my mum would appreciate it and bought it as soon as possible. The next day I received the dress as expected without get out of my room. You see, online shopping is very convenient that it has made our life colorful.

This summer, I attended a journalism-themed summer camp, where I learn a lot.

What impressed me most was the interviews carrying out in the street. In the beginning, I wasn’t used to talk to strangers. But with my teammate encouragem ent, I was able to communicate smooth with them. Then we were noticed most of the answers we got were brief. After a discussion, my teammates and I realized that was why our questions weren’t open-ended

enough. So we changed their questions and our interviewees were more willing to share with us their ideas in end.

From this experience I’ve gained several skill for interviewing people as a journalist.

Last night a strong wind as well as a heavily rain struck our area. News came that the trees in the park two kilometers away from our school was blown down. This afternoon, they set off the park to do some cleaning. The head of the park met us or gave us some advice on how to clear away the falling trees, branches and leaves. Some times later, we were working hard when it begins to rain. Because few of us had taken along umbrellas or raincoats, so we were all wet. A rain lasted about an hour and it was a pity that they had to stop our work.

Dear Mum and Dad,

In London at last, we are having great time!

To stay in a hotel in an old castle, and we tried to make a reservation. However, that hotel was booked full. So, instead, we get a couple of beds in a dormitory. Stay in a dormitory was a lot of fun because there were lots of people from various place.

If you had come without us, you would have enjoyed Europe either. All of the paintings I've seen so far is fantastic. Now I think Van Gogh is his favourite artist.
