一.Teaching and learning Goals:
Contest to learn the new words of Unit 1 . Teach Ss how to learn and remember the new words of Unit 1. After learning words, Ss can read the new words and remember the most words of Unit 1. Then Ss can understand the story I made.
二.Teaching and learning steps
Step 1 Warming up and leading in
Listen and sing the song on P4 .
(听课本第四页的英语歌来导入,不仅复习学过的一些问候语,而且能让学生在欢快的英语
歌曲中自然地进入学习情境。)
Step 2 Show the studying goals to the students.
1、Learn and remember the following new words :
name、nice、to、meet、too 、your、Ms 、his、her、and、yes、he、no、not、zero、one 、two、three、four、five、six 、seven、eight、nine、telephone、number、phone 、firs、last 、last name 、China、middle school、friend
2、Ss can understand the story I made.
(展示学习目标能让学生知道本节课的学习任务,从而做到心中有数,有目标地去学习。)Step 3 Learn to read the new words of Unit 1
1.Divide the class into four teams.(1.Gina Team
2.Jenny Team
3. Tom Team
4. Mike Team) Ask Ss to try to read these new words in unit1 by themselves and find the words they can't read . 2、Ask the students read the difficult words according to the phonetic symbols. If possible, the teacher gets the student to correct some pronunciations .When it's necessary ,I should correct the mistakes myself.
3、Play the tape ! Ss listen and repeat ! Correct their pronunciations.
4、Ask Ss to discuss some difficult words, correct their pronunciation.(每小组找一个同学读,找的几个同学程度要相当。读得好的奖红星一枚)

(采取这一系列不同的形式,让学生读单词,能让他们敢于开口;在读的过程中找出难度大的,通过录音来纠正他们的发音,继而能准确无误的读单词,让学生养成能准确读单词

Step 4Learn to remember words
一.Remember the following words by looking at pictures .
1. Show pictures to teach new words:

2.Give Ss three minutes to remember these words and then I ask some Ss to spell them.
3. Make a competition in groups! (答对一个送一红星来奖励,看哪个组得红星多)

(这些单词比较适合用图片学习,通过直观的视觉观察图片学单词,学生会记得更快,更准确。给他们一定的时间去记忆,然后开展一个小组竞赛形式的巩固,学生会很有成就感,更
能激发他们学习兴趣。)
二. Remember the words by conversion(转换) and derivative(派生):
1.r ice – n i ce (把r换成i )
2. to– to o ( to后加o)
3.me – me et(me后加et)
4. you – you r(you后加r人称代词变成物主代词)
5.hi– hi s( hi后加s)
6. an –an d (an后加d)
7. he –he r(he后加r)
8. he –s he(he前加s)
9. no –no t(no后加t)
10.b rown –B rown(b变B) 11.g reen –G reen(g变G)
(找规律记单词,减少学生记单词的难度,用学过的单词来记新单词,很快就能记住。技巧性记单词不再让学生感到枯燥无味,单词不再难记。)
