小学英语教学是要重视培养兴趣,但不能单唱歌游戏去学习,因为培养兴趣主要是为了学习英语。小学生学习英语不是英美的移民学习英语,则只有不断学到语言知识,提高语言能力,满足他们的成就感,才可能培养持久的兴趣。而目前小学生每周只有100多分钟的英语课,单唱歌游戏不能培养学生持久的兴趣。新鲜劲儿一过,孩子们就会厌倦。所以,唱歌游戏应该作为小学生学习英语语言知识、技能的一些手段,而不是培养兴趣的手段。我们可以采用多种手段帮助小学生在记忆力强的时期多记单词,多学习语言规则,并尽可能多创造模仿的机会,提高学生的语音和语调。在英语学习中,听、说、读、写、译五种能力是可以互补的。真正做到听说先行,读写跟上。光听说不读写,很难收到高效。只模仿不培养学习能力,也难减轻学习负担。

二、教材分析PEP小学英语教材Book3共有六个话题,本单元的话题是关于朋友,本课为第一课时,本课的主要内容是学习有关朋友外貌特征及性格特征的词汇friendly,quiet, tall and strong, short and thin,并能用He’s/She’s …来描述朋友,且能用Who is he/she?来询问他人姓名并作回答。
教材设计了Let’s learn,let’s chant的教学活动,活动贴近实际,生动形象,很容易吸引学生的注意力。
三、学情分析四年级学生的年龄在十一岁左右,生性活泼好动,但注意力集中的时间不长,主要以直观形象思维为主,对游戏、竞赛、特别感兴趣。
