I’m very glad to be here and talk about the lesson, which is from Primary School English Book7 Unit 1,the second period.I divide my teaching report into four parts.Ⅰ.Teaching materialFirst, let me talk about the teaching material.There are eight units in Book 7.This is the first unit, the second period. The content of my lesson is about some verb phrases. The main language point in this lesson is to grasp the new sentences and use them in the daily life .Through the study of this lesson, the students would know how to talk about the habit with the simple sentences. I think the study of this lesson could help the students with their daily communication and stimulate their interest in English.2. According to the new English curriculum standard and the students’ situation, I make the teaching aims as foll ows.a .The first is the aim of the knowledge.Enable the students to learn and master the verb phrases, use them fluently and correctly in life.b. The second is the aim of abilities.To improve the students’ comprehensive abilities is quite important, so in my class, I paid much attention to cultivate it. Otherwise, I tried to foster the students’ listening, speaki ng, reading and writing abilities. The main task is to improve their abilities of using English and encourage them to speak more English.c. Now let’s move on the most important part, teaching procedure. It consists of five steps, warming up and leading in, presentation,practice,summary and homework.StepⅠWarming up and leading in.1.GreetingsIn order to attract the students’attention an d cultivate an atmosphere of learning English,firstly, I had a friendly greeting with the students. It also promoted the relationship between the students and the teacher.2.Revision .Secondly I asked the students to watch and say, at the same time,the knowledge they have learned has been reviewed.Let thestudents have a smooth transition from the received knowledge into new knowledge.StepⅡPresentation.The key points of this period are some verb phrases and the sentence patterns,so I showed some time to them , helped them to connect their habits with some body language. Then asked them to use the phrases in some dialogues.And helped them to look at the pictures,listen to the tape and get the answers to the questions.StepⅢPractice1.I asked the students to read the dialogue in pairs .2.Then the students practiced the new sentences by making up newd ialogues in pairs.In this way,the students’ interest of learning English has been improved.3.I asked the students to go on talking about their Sunday . 教学准备教师准备(1) Let’s learn部分的教学卡片。

(2) 实物钟表、练习册、足球、小提琴、装着书本的包。

(3) Let’s learn部分的录音资料、录音机或PPT、动画视频。

教学方法建议I. 课程导入(Leading In)1. 课前热身师生课前问候过程中,教师不仅要照顾到学生新学期的不适应,还要照顾到通过三年学习后学生之间形成的差距,以帮助反应慢的学生树立起学习的信心。

师生会话交流建议这样开始:Hello, boys and girls! Welcome back to school!Nice to see you again! How’s yo ur holiday?How are you?2. 新课导入Part A Warming-up: Look and circle教师借助所准备的足球、小提琴导入新课:T: Hi, boys and girls, now we are back at school. Every day, I teach you English. Sometimes I play football and play the violin. What do you do every day?接下来引导学生完成本单元Warming-up中的第一个活动Look and circle,教师可借助图片或者PPT展示本部分的内容,让学生说出图中各活动所对应的词汇,同时配以相应的动作进行复习,最后让他们圈出各自常做的活动。

Unit1 第4课时教学设计教学目标1. 了解字母组合ay, ai在重读音节中的读音规则,并学习运用其读音规则拼读新单词。

2. 能听懂、理解Read and act部分简单的对话,并能准确跟读录音,要求模仿正确、语音访调自然。

3. 培养学生养成合理安排时间的好习惯。

教学准备教师准备:(1) 本单元的词汇卡片。

(2) Read the words部分的单词卡片。

(3) Read the words, Read and act及Listen and match 部分的录音资料。

(4 ) Read and act部分的图片。

教学方法建议I. 课程导入(Leading In)课前热身教师引导学生就本单元所学同组和句型进行简单对话。

以下句型可供参考:What time do you usually play sports?What time do you usually do eye exercises?Can I play the violin?Look at the clock! It’s eight. Please take out your books. Let's le arn English. II. 课程活动和过程的设计建议(Presentation)1. Part B Read the words本部分要求学生能在教师指导下了解字母组合ay,ai在重读音节中的读音规则,并学习运用其读音规则拼读新单词。

(1)请全班同学一起或分组认读教师出示的单词卡片,注意单词中的字母组合ay,ai的发音。

(2)教师让学生听录音,朗读Read the words部分的单词。

(3)通过朗读单词,教师引领学生发现并归纳字母组合ay,ai的发音规律及读音规则。

教学小贴士字母组合ay, ai在重读音节中都读双元音[ei]。

双元音[ei]在发音时口型是从半开到微开的过程,要从第一个音素[e]向第二个音素[I]滑动,滑动过程要流畅自然。

(4)鼓励学生尝试借助读音规则拼读出Try to read more部分的生词。

(5)教师播放Try to read more部分的录音,让学生跟读本部分的单词。

2. Part B Read and act(1)教师出示Read and act部分的图片,引导学生仔细观察图片并通过回答问题理解故事大意。

以下问题可供参考:Question 1: Who is this boy? What is he doing?Question 2: What can you see in Picture 2?What time is it? What is Dick doing?Question 3: Why doesn’t Dick want to get up?Question 4: Is he right? What’s wrong with Dick?(2)教师播放Read and act部分的录音,鼓励学生模仿磁带中的语音语调及停顿跟读对话,比比看谁模仿得最像。

(3)教师可把学生分为7人一组根据对话内容进行表演,S1扮演Mom,S2扮演Dick,扮演Monitor的S3 可设计一点旁白对每幅图中的场景所发生的时间做个介绍,如第一幅图:S3: It's seven o’clock in the morning.(4)教师请一些小组到讲台前进行展示,教师及时给出评价。

3. Part C Listen and match(1)教师先通过问答的形式指导学生熟悉表盘上所示的时间:T: What time is it?Ss: It’s...(2)教师再引导学生说说Alice的活动:T: What does Alice do?Ss: She...(3)播放录音,让学生根据所听到的内容将时间和相应的活动连线。

(4)本部分录音内容如下:1. Alice: Mom, can I watch TV?Mom: I’m afraid you can’t. It’s eight thirty. It’s time to learn Chinese. Alice: I see, Mom.2. Alice: What’s the time, Mom?Mom: Oh, it’s twelve o'clock. Part C Order and act教师引导学生自主完成本部分的练习,然后鼓励学生参考本部分对话进行创编,并引领其运用所学的知识加入更多的语句,丰富对话内容;最后随机选出几组学生表演对话,对挑战难度较高的小组教师要给予表扬…参考答案:5, 2, 4, 1, 36. Part C Choose and write教师首先指导学生浏览并记住给出的五个单接下来让学生阅读短文,根据短文中所需的信息,选择合适的单词填空;在做题过程中每选前一个单词就标一个小记号,避免重复选词。

另外,对不认识的单词先可以跳过,选可以确定的词,剩下的最后再填。

做完后一定要通读语段进行检查以保证正确性。

教师可先让学生独立完成此部分练习,然后再请几名同学来朗读语段,大家一起核对答案。

参考答案:cooks, cleans, time, hospital, busIII. 操练活动的设计与实施建议(Practice Activities)单元小复习教师可组织安排学生对本单元所学知识做一个小小的回顾和总结,以下几种方法可供教师参考:1. 由教师带领学生对本单元所学的同汇、重点句型逐一进行复习,可以是口头表达的、书空的,也可以做一些简单的小测试等。

2. 教师也可以让学生根据各自的情况制作一周时间安排表,在旁边标注正确的短语,并和同桌互相介绍各自的安排。

教师要注意提醒学生合理利用时间安排日常活动。

最后选出安排最合理的方案向全班展示。
