In this unit, we will learn about describing people and making comparisons.

Describing people is an important skill in English. We can use adjectives to describe someone's physical appearance, such as tall, short, slim, or fat. We can also use adjectives to describe someone’s personality and attributes. For example, we might say that someone is friendly, or a hard worker.

We can also use comparison words to describe or compare people. For example, if someone is taller than someone else, we can say that they are taller. We can also use the comparative form of the adjective. For example, if someone is friendlier than someone else, we can say that they are more friendly.

We can also use superlative forms to compare people. For example, if one person is the tallest of a group, we can say that they are the tallest. We can also use the more…than and the less…than structures to compare people. For example, if one person is more friendly than another, we can say that they are more friendly than the other person.
