译文审核标准

Elanso后台编辑将根据以下的标准来评定译文是否通过审核，一方面是要强化译员的品质意识、将空泛的各派翻译标准极具操作性地落到实处，另一方面是有助于甄别翻译质量的高低、提高译文的质量，让更多的读者喜欢您的译文。

此审核标准，集合了多位专家评审的自身学习体会和工作经验，全面参照英国皇家特许语言学家学会（Chartered Institute of Linguists）和澳大利亚翻译资格认可局（National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters）的笔译评价标准以及中华人民共和国国家标准《翻译服务规范第1部分：笔译》。

《译文审核标准》提出“内容完整”、“信息准确”、“表达恰当”、“语言品质”、“遵从惯例”、“风格贴近”、“技术细节”以及“整体效果”等八个方面的质量指标，基本涵盖了对翻译的所有常见要求。如果一篇译文，译文中如果不符合该标准中的任何3项，译文都将被编辑审核不通过。

一、内容完整Completeness

是否提交完整的译文、提交时间是否不超出约定期限，这是翻译质量的默认衡量标准。

二、信息准确Accuracy

提交的译文是否完全准确地传达了原文信息，没有添加、删减、扭曲、错乱，这是翻译质量的首要衡量标准。

1. 信息添加addition

原文：The UN released the document in The Hague and in more than 100 nations’ capitals, including Beijing.

译文：这份报告是联合国对包括北京在内的一百多个国家的首都进行调查后，在海牙公布的。

n 原文并未提及联合国对各国首都进行了调查，显然这是译者没有深究原文意思，先入为主地胡编乱造的。实际上，原文把“The Hague”和“capitals”并列区别开来，一是因为联合国的这份文件很可能是在海牙（国际法院所在地）首发的，二是因为海牙并非荷兰的首都，无法纳入“capitals”。

改译：联合国在海牙和包括北京在内的一百多个国家的首都发布了该报告。

2. 信息删减omission

原文：The Engineer shall be at liberty to object to and require the Contractor to remove forthwith from the Works any person employed by the Contractor in or about the execution or maintenance of the Works who, in the opinion of the Engineer, misconducts himself or is incompetent or negligent in the proper performance of his duties or whose employment is otherwise considered by the Engineer to be undesirable and such person shall not be again employed upon the Works without the written permission of the Engineer.

译文：工程师有权要求承包商立即解雇其雇用来执行合同的人员，这些人员在工程师看来未履行职责或不称职。被解雇的人员未经工程师的书面同意，不得再被雇用。

n 原文中的“any person employed by the Contractor in or about the execution or maintenance of the Works”被笼统地译为“执行合同的人员”，减损了概念的内涵，扩大了概念的外延（不但包括工程施工、执行和维护人员，而且可能包括行政、后勤等人员）。

n 此外，“misconducts himself”和“whose employment is otherwise considered by the Engineer to be undesirable”在译文中也没有得到体现。

n 上述漏译改变了原文条款的约束对象和范围。

改译：工程师有权反对承包商雇佣来参与工程建设或从事工程施工或维护相关工作的任何人员，并要求承包商立即将他们从工程中解雇，只要工程师认为其行为不轨、或不能或疏于恰当地履行职责、或工程师因其他原因认为其雇用欠妥。未经工程师书面同意，此种人员不得再受雇于该工程。

原文：“Site” means the land the other places on, under, or through which the Permanent Works or Temporary Works designed by the Engineer are to be executed.

译文：“现场”指工程师设计的永久性或临时性工程所需的土地及其他场地。

n 原文的on, under, in or through仅仅以“所需”笼统表示很不妥当，模糊了工程与现场的各种关系，将来可能造成争端。

改译：“现场”指建造工程师设计的永久或临时工程所需的土地和其他场所，不管工程是建造于该等场地之上、之下、之内还是经过该场地。

原文：Upon successful completion of the tests the Purchaser shall sign a Plant Acceptance Certificate evidencing such completion and listing any agreed Deficiencies to be corrected by CAE within such period as may be agreed with the Purchaser.

译文：如果这些试验均获成功，买方须在工厂验收合格证上签字，证明已完成这些试验，并注明双方一致认为并已被CAE校正的缺陷。

n 将完成纠正缺陷的时限漏译，可能造成的纠纷是不言而喻的。

改译：一旦顺利完成这些测试，买方须签署一份工厂验收证，证明测试已经完成，并列出双方共同认定的所有缺陷，由CAE在与买方可能商定的期限内加以纠正。

原文：The Contractor shall be responsible for the true and proper setting-out of the Works in relation to original points, lines and levels of reference given by the Engineer in writing and for the correctness, subject as above mentioned, of the position, levels, dimensions and alignment of all parts of the Works and for the provision of all necessary instruments, appliances and labor in connection therewith.

译文：承包人负责根据工程师的书面指示正确地开始工程，保证工程位置、面积、水平面及各部分组合的质量，提供工程所需工具、设备和劳力。
