Definition of Strategic Thinking

∙战略思维是依据一个清晰的愿景和可衡量的目标指定决策。

Strategic thinking is making decisions informed by a clear vision and

measurable goals.

∙战略思维是一种发散的思维方式，是一个真正与生俱来的天赋，而不是可以教的东西。

It is a divergent style of thinking which is truly an innate talent and not

something that can be taught.

∙有战略思维能力的人能够想象出行动方式或解决方案或准备(灵活性)，他们可以看到模式，和看出哪些看似无关或混乱元素之间的联系。

With the Strategic Thinking ability， someone is able to envision ways of action or solutions or readiness (flexibility) as they can see patterns and connections among seemingly unrelated or chaotic elements.

∙相对于能够“看到大局”，战略思维知道更多，并了解在一个给定的情景中事情是如何一起工作进展的。

Comparing with the a bility to “See the Big Picture”， know more

understanding how things work together within a given context.

Strategic thinking is the ability to focus on the vision of where you want things to be in the future both in the short and longer term and then

ensuring that your actions and decisions are defined by that mindset.

∙战略思维是一种能够清楚地想象未来的能力，创建一个成功的公式，有效地成功/到达那里。

It is the ability to clearly visualize the future and create a winning formula to reach there successfully/effectively.

Strategic thinking starts with "why" then proceeds to "what" and finally

moves on to "how".

∙战略思维是集中思想、能量、和在更大领域的业务目标的行动，而不是仅仅提出目前面临的挑战。

Strategic Thinking is focusing thoughts， energies， and actions on the

larger context of a business objective as opposed to the presenting

challenge of the moment.

The current circumstance of the person and their areas of influence may dictate what strategic and tactical really mean for them.
