◆ Step 1: Lead-in◆

1. Listen to the music, what information can you get from this song?

Two Blackbirds

Two little blackbirds are sitting on the hill.

One named Jack, the other named Jill.

Fly away Jack. Fly away Jill.

Come back Jack. Come back Jill.

2. Lead in the meaning of PCT

现在进行时:

表示现在(说话瞬间)正在进行或现阶段正在进行的动作。

3. Questions

(1) What are we doing now?

(2) What class are we having now?

(3) What are we learning now?

◆ Step 2: Words &Structure◆

1. Game

I will show students some pictures, they should stand up as quickly as they can and tell me the words and its -ing forms. I will give 1-3points for their group each time according to their performance, and each student only has one chance.

Notes:

根据歌词“are sitting”导入现在进行时。

引入现在进行时概念,帮助学生理解现在进行时用法。

引入简单的现在进行时标志词“now”,趁热打铁。

游戏环节,依图猜词,锻炼词汇拼写认知并为动词变化规则及方法埋下伏笔。

2.What can you find from the above words?

(1)一般情况下直接加ing

(2)以不发音的字母e结尾,去e,加ing

(3)重读闭音节(辅-元-辅)双写末尾字母,加ing

(4)以ie结尾,把ie改为y,加ing

3. The basic structure of PCT

主语+be.+V-ing

肯定:主语+be+V-ing

否定:主语+be+not+V-ing

一般疑问句:Be+主语+V-ing?

特殊疑问句:特殊疑问词+be+主语+V-ing?

Eg: I am speaking.

He/she is writing.

We/You/They are running.

(be要根据主语作人称和数的变化)

◆Step 4:Writing◆

根据以下图片写一篇小短文,用现在进行时介绍Tom一家的假日活动,可适当添加细节使行文连贯,不少于40词。

(野餐have a picnic 轮椅wheelchair)引导学生发现动词变化规则、规律及方法,小组合作探究,让学生归纳总结。

引出现在进行时的基本句式结构
