集体头脑风暴解决问题的重要性英语作文全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1The Power of Our Brains TogetherHave you ever felt stuck on a really hard problem or challenge? Like when you're trying to build something cool with Legos but you can't figure out how to get the pieces to fit together the right way. Or when you're playing a tricky video game level and you just can't seem to get past that one super difficult part. It can be so frustrating when you're working alone and you feel like you've tried everything but still can't crack it.Well, my friends, I have a super powerful solution that has helped me overcome lots of tough problems and challenges. It's called brainstorming, and it's even better when you brainstorm as a group with your friends, family, classmates or teammates. Brainstorming means you get everyone's brains working together on the same problem at the same time. Having more brains put together means more ideas, more creativity, and way more brain power!Let me give you an example of how well group brainstorming can work. A little while ago, my classmates and I had to do a big project about ecosystems and environments for science class. We had to build a model of a forest ecosystem and label all the different plants, animals, food chains, and relationships between the living and non-living things. It was a huge project and none of us really knew where to start.Luckily, our teacher is really smart and she had us begin by breaking into small groups to brainstorm ideas and plans. My group had four people total - me, Jamal, Samantha and Pedro. At first, we all just kind of looked at each other without a clue about what we should do first. But then Jamal mentioned that he went camping with his family over the summer and remembered seeing lots of trees, bushes, birds, squirrels and insects in the forest they hiked through. That sparked an idea from Samantha that we could use our memory of the camping trip and the pictures Jamal's dad took to get started making a list of foods, plants and animals to include. Pedro had the great idea of looking up facts and pics about local forests online for even more details to make our ecosystem really accurate and complete. With everyone's little brain waves combining together, we were able to put together a solid plan. We divided up the work, with Jamal and I focusing on creating the 3D model with trees, bushes, grass and soil, while Samantha and Pedro worked on researching facts to include on our labeling guide. We checked in with each other along the way to make sure everything was coming together smoothly. When we put our finished pieces together at the end, it turned out amazing! We had this incredible 3D forest scene that showed all the living and non-living things that make up that ecosystem, with clear labels explaining the roles and relationships between everything. Our teacher was really impressed and gave us all an A+!There's no way any single one of us could have made such an awesome project completely alone. But by pooling our brains together, hearing everyone's ideas out, and working as a team, we created something ten times better than what any of us could have done by ourselves. That's the power of group brainstorming!Group brainstorming can be helpful for so many situations too - figuring out solutions to disagreements between friends, planning fun activities or parties, or troubleshooting how toimprove at team sports or games. Whenever there's a problem, challenge or project to work on, putting multiple brains together makes everything easier.Even little kids have great ideas to contribute, and the more different minds you include, the more creative and innovative your solutions can become. You might get ideas you never could have thought of on your own. That's because we all have different perspectives, knowledge and experiences to draw from. The best way to brainstorm in a group is to get everyone sharing whatever ideas pop into their head without judging or criticizing. There are no stupid suggestions at this stage - you want to create a free-flowing pool of ideas. Once you've explored every possibility, then you can start evaluating the ideas and picking the best ones to actually put into action. This keeps the creativity flowing at first, before you filter things down. When my family is trying to figure out stuff like where to go on vacation, what birthday party theme to do, or how to organize household chores, my parents often have us do a family brainstorming session. We'll gather in the living room or around the dinner table, and everyone gets a turn to shout out any ideas while my mom writes them all down on a big piece of paper. No idea is too weird or silly in the beginning. My little brother once suggested having a bubble party for his birthday, where we all eat nothing but bubble foods and everything is decorated with bubble wands and bubble makers. As silly as it sounded at first, putting that idea together with some of the other ideas actually inspired the totally fun bubble-themed pool party we ended up having!I bet if you start doing more group brainstorming with your friends, families or classmates, you'll be amazed at how well it works for generating awesome ideas and solutions. You'll keep running into problems, challenges and decisions to make your whole life, so get used to using that brainstorming superpower now while you're a kid. It will make you strong problem solvers for the future! The more brains, the better - that's my motto. You're a million times more likely to blaze through anything blocking your path if you collect a bunch of different minds to tackle it together as a team. Who's brains are in? Brainstorm on!篇2The Power of Putting Our Heads TogetherHave you ever had a really tough problem that you just couldn't figure out no matter how hard you tried? Maybe it was atricky math problem or a writing assignment that had you stumped. When that happens, it can feel really frustrating and make you want to give up. But you know what they say – two heads are better than one! And even better than two heads is a whole group of heads working together to solve the problem. That's the idea behind brainstorming with a group. When you brainstorm, you get everyone's creative ideas out in the open. People share their thoughts and build off of each other's suggestions. It's kind of like a team sport for your brains! By combining everyone's perspectives and strengths, you can come up with way better solutions than any one person could on their own.Let me give you an example from my own experience. Last year, my class was trying to plan a fun end-of-year party but we were having trouble agreeing on the activities and details. Some kids wanted games, others wanted music and dancing, others just wanted tons of snacks and treats. We went around in circles for a while with people arguing about their favorite ideas. That's when our teacher suggested we break into small groups and spend 10 minutes brainstorming party ideas together on big sheets of paper. At first, I wasn't sure how just writing down ideas would help. But the brainstorming rules saidwe couldn't judge or criticize any ideas during those 10 minutes – we just had to get our creativity flowing. It was amazing how many fun and original concepts we came up with once the ideas started building on each other. One person's idea about having a talent show inspired thoughts of a karaoke contest or open mic night. The snack suggestion led to ideas about having food trucks or an ice cream sundae bar. Before we knew it, our papers were filled with tons of exciting possibilities for the party that nobody would have thought of on their own. When we shared our brainstorming sheets with the whole class, we were able to mix and match the best ideas into one epic party plan that made everyone happy. We had karaoke, a couple of fun games, lots of amazing food, and even a short talent show. It was honestly one of the best parties I've ever been to, all because we tapped into our collective brainpower through brainstorming.Brainstorming pushes you to think more creatively than you normally would by yourself. That's because saying every idea out loud, no matter how silly, encourages your mind to make new connections it wouldn't otherwise. Maybe one person's weird idea about having a petting zoo at the party initially sounds crazy. But then someone else spins off that idea by suggesting we could have a teacher's pet contest or showcase photos of our pets instead. The blurting out of ideas also prompts your brain to look for new patterns and solutions that you may have overlooked before. Like if one idea is to have a dance party, someone else might build on that by saying "Oh yeah, and we could have a contest for best dancer!" That could then inspire ideas for having a best singer or best musician contest too. Brainstorming creates a playful chain reaction that leads to innovative thoughts. But group brainstorming isn't just great for planning parties and fun activities. It's also an amazing tool for tackling tough challenges, whether that's improving our school, helping out in the community, or really any kind of problem that needs a creative solution. For example, last month our class brainstormed ideas for making our school greener and more environmentally friendly. We broke into groups again and this time, we brainstormed all the ways our school could reduce waste, conserve resources, and help the planet. It was awesome seeing everyone's minds firing off all kinds of creative suggestions. One group proposed having a recycling competition between classes to see who could recycle the most materials. Another suggested we start a vegetable garden and compost program for eco-friendly lunches. Somebody else brought up the idea of a "bike to school" day to reduce emissions from buses and cars. None of us would have thought of all those great concepts by ourselves, but once we started building off each other's ideas, we came up with a whole action plan for greening our school.More recently, we brainstormed ways we could help out at a local pet shelter that was struggling because of an influx of animals after a tornado hit our town. The brainstorming let us think beyond just raising money or volunteering directly at the shelter. We came up with ideas like doing a neighborhood bake sale to raise funds, creating homemade toys from old materials to donate, making "Adopt me!" posters and videos to help pets find homes, and even writing stories to read to the animals to help calm and socialize them. Just by combining our creativity, we expanded the ways we could make a difference.I've also used brainstorming at home when I'm working on assignments or dealing with personal problems. If I'm feeling stuck on a book report, for instance, I'll grab some paper andbrainstorm ideas like making a diorama of an important scene, summarizing the story through drawings and cartoons, or even acting out part of the book on video to explain the plot. If I'm upset about an argument with a friend, I'll brainstorm different ways I could potentially make amends, see the conflict from their perspective, or communicate more clearly next time.Brainstorming is genuinely one of the most powerful thinking tools you can have. Itturbocharges your imagination by letting ideas bounce around and multiply off of each other. It allows you to make new connections you'd never spot when just thinking alone inside your own head. And it pools together the diverse knowledge, experiences, and viewpoints of every person in the group into one shared spring of inspiration. So next time you've got a big project, challenge, or dilemma on your hands, don't go it alone! Rally the troops and get your collective brainpower flowing. Brainstorming might sound like a simple process of just writing down ideas, but it's a secret weapon for unlocking creativity. With a little teamwork and some shared brainwaves, you can spark solutions that never would have materialized otherwise. Two heads are better than one, but you know what's even better? A whole group of amazing minds joining together!篇3The Power of Putting Our Heads TogetherHave you ever had a really tough problem that you just couldn't figure out no matter how hard you tried? Maybe it was a difficult math problem, or trying to decide what to do for a school project. When I get stuck like that, I've learned that one of the best things to do is brainstorm with my friends and classmates. By working together and combining our ideas, we can come up with solutions that none of us would have thought of alone. That's the magic of group brainstorming! What is brainstorming anyway? It's when a group of people get together and just throw out as many ideas as they can about something. The most important rule is that there are no bad ideas in a brainstorm. Even if an idea sounds a little silly at first, you don't judge it or make fun of it. You just write it down and keep the ideas flowing. The weirder and crazier the ideas, the better! That's because really creative solutions often come from combining different crazy ideas together in new ways.Once you have a big list of ideas, that's when you start looking through them more carefully. You might group similar ideas together, or build on one idea by adding another one to it.Little by little, some good solid plans can start to come together from that big messy pile of ideas. But you'd never get to those good plans without first getting all the random thoughts out on the table.I remember one time when my class had to brainstorm ideas for reducing waste and recycling more at our school. At first, the ideas were all over the place. Like, having a classroom pet... worm bin? For composting our apple cores and stuff. Or weighing everyone's backpacks at the end of the day and giving a prize to the lightest one. Weird ideas, right? But eventually those silly ideas led us to the plan of having a recycling competition between classrooms, with prizes for the room that recycled the most stuff each month. We never would have gotten to that good plan without letting the craziness flow first.Working together in a group is so much better than just trying to solve a problem by yourself. It's like the old saying "Two heads are better than one." Well with brainstorming, you might have 20 or 30 heads working together! That's a lot of brain power. Everyone has their own perspective and way of looking at things. When you combine all those different viewpoints, you wind up seeing the situation from all kinds of new angles that you'd miss on your own.I know that sometimes group work can be frustrating because people have different ideas and it's hard to agree. But that's exactly why brainstorming is so important! If everyone already agreed from the start, you wouldn't need to brainstorm. It's when people think differently that you really need that process of getting everyone's ideas out in the open and looking at the problem with fresh eyes.Maybe someone is really creative and visual, so they can draw pictures of their ideas. While someone else is really logical and analytical, spotting potential problems with plans. And someone else is just full of enthusiastic energy that keeps everyone's spirits up. All those different strengths from various people become super powers when you combine them through brainstorming.I've also found that brainstorming together helps build team spirit and positive feelings between classmates. When you go through that process of throwing out ideas together, building on each other's thoughts, and finally arriving at a great group solution, it creates a really strong sense of togetherness. You feel proud of what you accomplished by working as a team. It's a lot more fun and satisfying than just figuring something out alone.Of course brainstorming does have some rules to make it work smoothly. You have to make sure everyone gets a chance to share their thoughts and no one person hogs all the time. You can go around in a circle or something to give each person a turn. And like I mentioned before, the biggest rule is not criticizing or making fun of ideas during the brainstorming phase itself. You just let the ideas flow at first, and then do the sorting and judging after. As long as everyone follows those basic rules, the brainstorming can be really productive. So the next time you're facing a big problem or challenge, don't try to go it alone! Gather up a group of friends, classmates, family members, whoever you can, and put your heads together. You'll be amazed at the creative solutions you can come up with through the power of group brainstorming. Two heads are better than one, but twenty heads are better than two! Let the ideas rain down like a brainstorm and watch as insight and imagination bloom.。

Even if a job' s starting salary seems too small to satisfy an emerging adult' s need for rapid content, the transition from school to work can be less of a setback if the start-up adult is ready for the move. Here are a few measures, drawn from my book Ready or Not, Here Life Comes, that parents can take to prevent what I call "work-life unreadiness" :(51)You can start this process when they are ll or 12. Periodically review their emerging strengths and weaknesses with them and work together on any shortcomings, like difficulty in communicating well or collaborating. Also, identify the kinds of interests they keep coming back to, as these offer clues to the careers that will fit them best.(52)Kids need a range of authentic role models--as opposed to members of their clique, pop stars and vaunted athletes .Have regular dinner-table discussions about people the family knows and how they got where they are. Discuss the joys and downsides of your own career and encourage your kids to form some ideas about their own future. When asked what they want to do, they should be discouraged from saying "I have no idea. " They can change their minds 200 times, but having only a foggy view of the future is of little good.(53)Teachers are responsible for teaching kids how to learn; parents should be responsible for teaching them how to work. Assign responsibilities around the house and make sure homework deadlines are met. Encourage teenagers to take a part-time job. Kids need plenty of practice delaying gratification and deploying effective organizational skills, such as managing time and setting priorities.(54)Playing video games encourages immediate content. And hours of watching TV shows with canned laughter only teaches kids to process information in a passive way. At the same time, listening through earphones to the same monotonous beats forlong stretches encourages kids to stay inside their bubble instead of pursuing other endeavors. All these activities can prevent the growth of important communication and thinking skills and make it difficult for kids to develop the kind of sustained concentration they will need for most jobs.(55)They should know how to deal with setbacks, stresses and feelings of inadequacy. They should also learn how to solve problems and resolve conflicts, ways to brainstorm and think critically. Discussions at home can help kids practice doing these things and help them apply these skills to everyday life situations. What about the son or daughter who is grown but seems to be struggling and wandering aimlessly through early adulthood? Parents still have a major role to play, but now it is more delicate. They have to be careful not to come across as disappointed in their child. They should exhibit strong interest and respect for whatever currently interests their fledging adult (as naive or ill conceived as it may seem) While becoming a partner in exploring options for the future. Most of all, these new adults must feel that they are respected and supported by a family that appreciates them.下载文档。

团队头脑风暴解决问题的重要性的英语作文全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1Title: Working Together to Solve Problems is Awesome!Have you ever had a really hard problem that you just couldn't figure out on your own? Maybe it was a tough math question, or trying to decide what to do for a school project. When that happens, it's really great to get together with some friends and brainstorm ideas!Brainstorming means getting a group of people together to come up with as many ideas and solutions as possible. It's kind of like a big idea storm where everyone's brains work together to make it rain ideas. The best part is that there are no wrong answers during a brainstorm. Every idea is welcome, no matter how silly or crazy it might seem at first. Why is brainstorming with a team so helpful for solving tricky problems? Well, there are a few important reasons:You get way more ideas than just one person could come up with. When you brainstorm as a team, everyone gets to share their ideas and build off of each other's suggestions. One personmight have part of a good idea, and then someone else takes that idea and adds to it to make it even better. You hear different perspectives. Since everyone has their own unique way of looking at things, you get to consider the problem from multiple angles when brainstorming together. What seems confusing to you might make perfect sense to someone else, and vice versa. All those different viewpoints combined can lead to creative solutions you may have never thought of alone.Brainstorming is fun and energizing. Trying to solve a problem all by yourself can get frustrating and make you want to give up. But brainstorming with friends is an energetic, exciting experience. You vibe off each other's enthusiasm and it keeps the creative juices flowing. Coming up with ideas turns into a fun team challenge instead of just hard work. You learn from each other. During a good brainstorming session, you don't just solve the problem at hand, you also learn new things from your teammates. Maybe someone explains a concept in a way that suddenly makes it all click for you. Or you pick up a handy problem-solving trick to use in the future. All that shared knowledge strengthens everyone's abilities.Of course, not just any brainstorming session will work out that well. You have to make sure you do it the right way for it to be super productive. Here are some tips for awesome team brainstorming:Have a leader and take turns sharing ideas. You don't want everyone talking over each other. Choose someone to lead the brainstorm so you can take turns speaking.Write down every idea where everyone can see. Use a big whiteboard or big paper on the wall so you can map out all the ideas visually as you go. Seeing them all together like that really helps stimulate more ideas.Stay positive and build on ideas. During brainstorming time, you aren't allowed to judge or criticize any ideas, no matter how weird they seem. The best solutions often start as wild ideas that get built upon.Take brain breaks as needed. Intense brainstorming can be mentally draining. If you start feeling stuck as a group, take a break to stretch, have a snack, and refresh your creative brains.Brainstorming as a team isn't just useful for schoolwork, it can help solve all sorts of problems and challenges in life. At home, you and your family could brainstorm ideas for family funnight or chores. On a sports team, you could brainstorm game strategies. At work someday, you'll probably need to brainstorm creative ideas or solutions with coworkers.Learning how to brainstorm effectively now will make you amazing at solving any problems that come your way later on. So next time you're stuck on something tough, don't go it alone! Grab some friends and let the team brainstorm begin. Two (or three or four or more) heads are always better than one when it comes to cracking tough problems. Working together to come up with ideas is awesome!篇2The Power of Our Minds TogetherHave you ever felt stuck on a really hard problem or challenge? Maybe you were trying to build something cool with Legos but couldn't figure out how to get the pieces to fit together right. Or perhaps you were practicing a new sport and had a tough time mastering a skill. When we come up against a tricky problem by ourselves, it can sometimes feel impossible to solve it on our own.But did you know that there's an amazing tool we can use to tackle even the toughest problems? It's called teambrainstorming, and it involves getting a bunch of friends or classmates together to think through the problem and come up with creative ideas. By pooling our brainpower, we can overcome challenges that might seem unsolvable when we're going it alone. How does it work? Well, let me tell you about a time when my class had to use team brainstorming to help solve a problem for our school. Ms. Jenkins, the principal, came into our classroom one day looking worried. "Boys and girls," she said, "I have a predicament that I need your help with."It turned out that every year, our school put on a big Fall Festival with games, prizes, food, and fun activities. But this year, there wasn't enough money in the school's budget to pay for everything they usually did at the festival. Ms. Jenkins didn't know if they'd have to cancel it entirely! We all gasped - the Fall Festival was our favorite event of the whole year. We had to find a way to save it.Ms. Jenkins asked us to split up into small teams of 4-5 students each. Our job? Come up with as many ideas as possible for ways to raise money for the festival without having to spend much at all. Once we were in our teams, the real brainstorming began! My team decided to go around in a circle, with each person getting a turn to shout out an idea while the rest of us listened without judging or criticizing. The first few ideas weren't so great - have a bake sale, ask our parents for donations, etc. But then the creative juices started flowing. Jamal suggested we could collect aluminum cans and bottles to cash in for the nickel deposits. Sara had the idea of putting on a talent show and selling tickets. I even came up with the wacky idea of having a teacher dunk tank where we could pay a quarter to try to dunk Mr. Watkins! The more we brainstormed together, the more ideas started bubbling up. We built off of each other's thoughts and made them even better. For example, Miguel said we could have a used book and toy sale, but Tanya took it a step further and said we could also sell crafts and artwork made by the students. By combining our different perspectives, skill sets, and knowledge, we were able to develop ideas that none of us would have come up with alone. After 20 minutes or so of rapid-fire brainstorming, we had pages filled with all sorts of outside-the-box solutions. We brought them back to Ms. Jenkins and she was blown away by our creativity! With all the ideas from the different teamscombined, we had more than enough plans to raise the funds needed to save the Fall Festival.Over the next few weeks, we got right to work putting our best ideas into action. We held that used book and toy sale with student-made crafts. We did an aluminum can and bottle drive all around the neighborhood. Our very talented classmates even put on multiple shows to sell tickets to - a singing contest, a magic performance, you name it! And yes, we did get to dunk Mr. Watkins at the dunk tank (which was definitely the most popular event). When the weekend of the Fall Festival arrived, we had raised more than enough money to cover all the usual costs. In fact, we had so much extra that Ms. Jenkins decided to use it to add even more fun activities and attractions than before! The school grounds were a wonderland of games, rides, tasty treats, and smiling faces. As I looked around at all the joy it brought to my friends, my family, and our whole community, I felt so proud of what we had accomplished together.By using the incredible technique of team brainstorming, we had solved what felt like an impossible problem at first. When our minds joined forces, we were able to be so much more creative, resourceful and solution-focused than any of us couldhave been alone. We combined our unique backgrounds, strengths and perspectives into a kind of shared "group genius" that unlocked ideas none of us would have ever thought of individually. So the next time you're stuck on a tough challenge or barrier, remember the awesome power of team brainstorming! Gather some friends or classmates, set a creative and judgment-free atmosphere, and start firing off ideas, building on each other's thoughts in a shared flow of creative brilliance. With our minds united, we can overcome any obstacle and keep having fun while we're at it. What problem can you and your team take on next?篇3The Super Power of Team Brainstorms!Have you ever had a really hard problem that you just couldn't solve on your own? Maybe it was a tough math problem, or figuring out how to build something really cool. Well, I've got a super awesome solution for you - team brainstorming! What is brainstorming, you ask? It's when you get a bunch of people together to think really hard and come up with as many ideas as possible to solve a problem. And doing it as a team is like a superpower!Let me give you an example from my life. A few months ago, my friends and I really wanted to raise money to help out at the local animal shelter. But we had no clue how to do it! We each had a few little ideas, like having a bake sale or doing chores for money. But when we got together for a team brainstorm, the ideas just started flowing like crazy!First, Michael suggested a lemonade stand, which seemed kind of boring at first. But then Julia piped up with the idea of not just selling lemonade, but also having little snacks and treats. That reminded me of those fun food trucks I've seen around, so I suggested making our lemonade stand look like a cute little food truck! Before we knew it, we were riffing off each other's ideas left and right. "We could have a mobile lemonade truck and drive it around neighborhoods!" "Let's decorate it with paw prints and dog bones!" "We can make doggy treats to sell too!" "Maybe we could do little pet caricature drawings!" Ideas were bouncing around like crazy. And you know what? Our final lemonade truck idea, which combined probably 20 different ideas from everyone, ended up being a huge success! We raised over 500 for the animal shelter, all thanks to our epic team brainstorm. So why is team brainstorming such a superpower for solving problems? Well, there are lots of reasons!First of all, you get way more ideas than just one person could ever come up with. When it's just you thinking alone, you might get stuck on a few ideas. But when you brainstorm as a team, there are so many different perspectives and experiences that lead to a tons of new ideas you'd never think of by yourself.Secondly, one person's idea can spark another idea, and another, and another. You start building off each other's ideas and combining them in creative ways. What started as a tiny idea can snowball into something huge and amazing when a whole group works on it together.Brainstorming together is also more fun than trying to figure stuff out alone. It's awesome bouncing ideas off friends and feeling that energy when you start getting really excited about your ideas. You feel like you can do anything! And you know what else is great about team brainstorms? Nobody's ideas get judged or criticized at first. The most important rule is to not knock down any ideas at the start, no matter how silly or weird they might seem. You just let the ideas flow freely. Then, later, you can go back and pick out the goodones. But if you start shooting ideas down from the beginning, the creative juices stop flowing.Of course, not every idea that comes out of a brainstorm is going to be a winner. Sometimes you might get a few stinkers in there too. But that's okay! More ideas means better chances of getting some really good ones. It's like fishing - if you make one cast, you might catch something, but if you cast your line a hundred times, you're way more likely to catch an awesome fish!Speaking of teams, that's another key part of good brainstorming. You want people with different backgrounds, strengths and perspectives. If everyone is too similar, you'll just keep having the same ideas over and over. But if you mix it up with different kinds of people, that's where you get those unexpected ideas that can lead to creative solutions. Variety is the brainstorm superpower!Okay, one last example to show you how brainstorming can take you in amazing directions. What started as a simple team brainstorm about designing a fun game during recess, ended up leading to my friends and I creating the coolest new game that combined tetherball, kickball, and even a little bit of dodgeball! We never could have come up with the idea individually, but by building on each other's ideas it became a reality. And it got sopopular that we taught it to other classes, and now they play it at schools across town!So the next time you're stuck on a problem, don't stay stuck in your own head. Rally the troops and crank up your brain powers to maximum by brainstorming with friends, family or classmates. Let those creative juices flow, build off each other's ideas, and watch the solutions go bursting out like a brainstorm supernova! You've got the power to come up with the most amazing ideas when you brainstorm together as a team.篇4The Power of Our Brains TogetherDo you ever feel stuck on a hard problem or challenge? Maybe you're trying to build something cool with Legos but you can't figure out how to make it work right. Or perhaps you're playing a new video game and you just can't get past that super tough level. When this happens to me, I used to get really frustrated. I'd bang my head against the wall, trying to force my brain to solve it all by myself. But then I learned something amazing - that working together and combining our brains is like a superpower!Last year, my teacher Mr. Lopez taught us about something called "brainstorming." It's when a group of people come together and just throw out all their ideas and suggestions for how to solve a problem or challenge. He said brainstorming with teammates is one of the best ways to take on really hard stuff because it lets you combine everybody's smarts and creativity together into one big brain blast! At first, I was a little nervous to brainstorm with my classmates. What if I said something silly or my ideas weren't good enough? But Mr. Lopez made it feel really safe. He said there are no stupid ideas during a brainstorm - every single thought and suggestion is valuable because you never know what weird, random thing might lead to the perfect solution. The most important rules are:Don't judge or criticize anyone's ideas, just let them flow! The crazier and crazier the better! Wacky ideas are encouraged.Build on each other's thoughts and suggestions to take them further.Once we started brainstorming together, it was like magic! Someone would say one thing that seemed a little silly, but thensomeone else would hear it and say "Oh! What if we combined that with..." And then another person would add something else and before you knew it, we were cooking with ideas that none of us would have ever thought of alone. Our brains started weaving together into one mega-problem-smashing-brain!Like this one time, we had to figure out a way to get heavy bags of smelly compost from the school garden all the way across the playground and into the woods without making a mess. Jonathan suggested launching it through a giant slingshot (crazy, but hey no judging!). Then Maria built on that with "What if we made a slingshot that sat on the ground and rolled on wheels?" And then I piped up with "Wheels? Oh! We could make a rickshaw or catapult on wheels that could drive over and fling it!" And just like that - the Compost Catapult was born! We worked together to design it, built it out of wood and bungee cords, and it worked like a charm.Another time, we had to figure out a new game to play during indoor recess that would get our bodies moving but not involve throwing things that could break stuff. Russell just blurted out "What if we pretended to be monkeys climbing through the rainforest?" Which seemed random, but then Sasha riffed off that and said "Yeah! And there could be areas that aresafe 'trees' and other areas that are 'abysses' you can't step in or you're out." And pretty soon we'd brainstormed this whole epic game called "Jungle Runners" that had us leaping between desks and bookshelves like crazy monkey people. We got our hearts pumping like crazy! For our latest challenge - designing a website for kids to learn about endangered species - the brainstorming has been out of this world! We started with some basic ideas about having photos and facts, but then Jamal asked "What if the website could actually talk to you and tell you about each animal?" And that led to Lila envisioning an animated animal that could come to life and interact with you. And then Caleb suggested it could even be a video game where you have to help the species survive! Our brains just kept feeding off each other until we came up with this insanely ambitious plan to create "Jungle Explorers" - an interactive animated world where kids can dive into different habitats and actually talk to the critters to learn while going on exciting missions. None of us would have ever dreamed up something so epic alone.Brainstorming is seriously the best! It's amazing how just throwing out every random, zany idea and then building upon each other's thoughts can lead to solutions that blow your mind.My advice? Never be afraid to brainstorm with your friends, classmates, or teammates! Because when you combine your mega-minds together, you're like a team of super-smart, supersonic, super-powered problem smashers!篇5The Power of Putting Our Heads Together!Have you ever felt stuck on a really hard problem? Like when you're trying to beat that super tough level in your favorite video game? Or when you're stuck on a tricky math problem for homework and you just can't figure it out? Well, I've got a awesome secret weapon to share with you that can help us conquer any problem or challenge we face - the power of team brainstorming! What is brainstorming you might ask? It's when a bunch of us put our heads together and throw out as many ideas as we can to try to solve the problem. The coolest part is that there are no bad ideas allowed in a brainstorm! We can think as crazily and wacky as we want. Why? Because you never know what silly little idea might end up sparking the perfect solution.Let me give you an example from my own life. A few months ago, my friends and I were planning the yearly bake sale for ourschool fundraiser. We wanted to make sure it was the best bake sale ever with tons ofeople coming to buy all the tasty treats. But we had no clue how to advertise it and get people excited about coming. We all felt pretty stuck until I suggested we do a team brainstorm during recess. We gathered underneath the big oak tree on the playground, and I brought a portable whiteboard to write down all our ideas. At first, the ideas were kind of typical like "Make flyers!" or "Post it on the school website!" But then Jasmine, who is one of the quietest people in our class, shyly raised her hand and said "What if we made a funny video advertising all the cool treats and had it play on the TVs in school during lunch periods?"At first I thought that idea was kind of weird, but the more we talked about it, the more we realized it could actually be a super fun way to get everyone's attention! Sam suggested we could have different people in the video dressed up as cupcakes or cookies dancing around. Jayden had the idea that we could edit the video with cool animations and special effects. Before we knew it, we had an entire amazing music video promotional idea mapped out that we were all excited to make happen.Without brainstorming together as a team, we never would have thought of that crazy but incredibly effective idea. Jasmine's little suggestion that seemed silly at first ended up sparking our creativity and pushing us to come up with something totally new and innovative. And let me tell you, the video was a huge hit! Pretty much everyone at school came out for the bake sale because they thought the video was so funny and creative. We sold out of baked goods in like an hour! That experience showed me just how powerful it can be when we pool our brainpower together through brainstorming rather than just trying to come up with ideas on our own. By combining our different perspectives, experiences and creativity, we can take on any challenge and come up with solutions that none of us would have ever thought of alone. Some of the greatest inventions and innovations the world has ever seen happened because of team brainstorming. Can you imagine if the Wright brothers never shared their ideas and worked together to build the first plane? Or if Albert Einstein pondered the theory of relativity all alone in his head instead of bouncing ideas off his scientist friends? They never would have accomplished those incredible things without the power of putting their heads together.Even incredibly smart people can get stuck inside their own heads and not be able to see an easy solution right under their noses. That's because we all have our own personal blinders based on our experiences and knowledge. But when we brainstorm together, we get to benefit from everyone else's perspectives too! We all get to see the problem through fresh new lenses. To get the most out of brainstorming though, we have to make sure we follow some important ground rules:There are no stupid ideas! The crazier and sillier the better. Those wacky ideas can lead us to the most creative solutions if we give them a chance. No idea is too small or silly to share. You never know what random little thought could spark an amazing idea for someone else.We have to be respectful of each other's ideas and not judge or make fun of them. If someone feels embarrassed, they won't want to share. We should build on each other's ideas rather than shooting them down. See how you can combine different ideas together in new ways. The more ideas, the merrier! Our goal is to generate as many possibilities as we can, not just find one solution. If we all follow those rules, the brainstorming magic is sure to happen! Our individual limitations will be stripped away, and our collective creative powers will be unleashed. No problem will be too big or tough to take on when we put our heads together.I really believe that brainstorming with my friends and classmates is going to help us accomplish amazing things, both now and way into the future. We're going to change the world with our radical ideas and creativity! Maybe one day people will be writing books and studying how the brainstorming magic of me and my squad took on huge problems like climate change or world hunger or intergalactic space travel and solved them. Okay, maybe I'm dreaming a little too big there, haha! But why not dream big? With teamwork and our combined brainpower, anything is possible if we put our heads together.。

解决问题顺序的英语作文Solving Problems in Order。

Problems are a part of life that we all have to deal with. Some problems are minor and easy to solve, while others are more complex and require more time and effort to resolve. No matter what the problem is, it is important to approach it in a systematic and orderly manner. In this essay, I will discuss the importance of solving problems in order and provide some tips on how to do so effectively. The first step in solving any problem is to identify what the problem is. This may seem obvious, but it is surprising how many people jump straight into trying to solve a problem without taking the time to properly understand what the problem is. Once you have identified the problem, it is important to gather as much information as possible about it. This may involve doing research, talking to people who are involved in the problem, or simply taking the time to think about it.Once you have a good understanding of the problem, the next step is to prioritize it. This means deciding which problems are the most urgent and need to be dealt withfirst. For example, if you have a leaky roof and a broken window, the leaky roof would be the more urgent problem asit could cause more damage if left unattended. Prioritizing problems helps you to focus your energy and resources onthe most important issues. After prioritizing the problem, the next step is to brainstorm possible solutions. This involves coming up with as many ideas as possible, even if they seem unrealistic or impractical at first. This is because sometimes the most creative and innovative solutions come from thinkingoutside the box. Once you have a list of possible solutions, you can then evaluate them to determine which ones are the most feasible and effective. The final step in solving a problem is to take action. This means implementing the chosen solution and monitoring its effectiveness. It is important to be flexible andwilling to make adjustments if the solution is not working as expected. Sometimes, it may be necessary to go back to the drawing board and come up with a new solution if thefirst one does not work.In conclusion, solving problems in order is animportant skill that everyone should develop. By followinga systematic approach that involves identifying the problem, gathering information, prioritizing, brainstorming solutions, and taking action, you can effectively solveeven the most complex problems. Remember to be patient, flexible, and willing to make adjustments along the way. With practice, you can become a skilled problem solver and tackle any challenge that comes your way.。

Disposable packaging and items become fashionable these days, from baby nappies to milk cartons to burger wrappers.Solutions:1. Public activities should be sponsored by government to promote the public awareness of environmental protection. Make sure that everyone is a conscious preserver.2. Our government should take stronger and harsher measures to combat the littering behavior.3. Use environmentally-friendly materials.4. People shoud learn to recycle. For instance, we should set up bins around town to collect glass, paper, and aluminum that can be converted back into raw materials, then made them into new products. How to Solve the Traffic ProblemPresent Situation:1. It leads to the psychological harms on cloned human children. One of those harms is the loss of identify, or sense of uniqueness and individuality.4. The strongest ethical argument against cloning is that it could lead to a new, unfamiliar type of family relationship.5. Another argument against cloning is that it would be available only to the wealthy and therefore would increase social inequality.Space ResearchPros:1. We will go into space, not only to bring back things which make us richer or more comfortable here on Earth, we will go there to live and make it our home as well.2. The instinct to explore is fundamentally human; already some of our most amazingachievements have taken place in space.3. The exploitation of space has directly changed our world. Satellites orbiting the Earth allow us to communicate instantaneously with people on different continents, and to broadcast to people all over the world.4. Weather satellites save lives by giving advance warning of adverse conditions, and together with other scientific instruments in orbit they have helped us understand our own world better.5. Television is one of the most important forms of entertainment and communication and even receiving education.2. There is probably no greater influence on society than the television, which has saturated our lives.3. Children watch TV to receive the daily news. The TV was brought in to our world to give us a new sense of entertainment, world news and endless amounts of information.4. Television can also promote pro-social behavior. Television can exert its strongest pro-social influence in the area of learning and cognitive development.Negative Side:1. A child who often indulges in TV doesn’t know the difference between reality and fantasy.2. Children have undeveloped minds, which can not conceive the information the same way that adults do.3. The health consequences of this overabundance of TV viewing include an increase in obesity among kids due to a sedentary lifestyle, and the flip side, an increase in dieting disorders due to the unrealistic expectations set up by thin actors on television shows and commercials.AdvertisingFor:1. Advertising brings convenience to people’s lives. Advertising promotes and popularizes new products and give people everywhere the maximum choice of products and choice.2. Some advertisements are of high artistic value, original and well-designed with vividpictures and witty language, artistic photography and witty slogan; therefore they add to the beauty of our lives. They are a par indispensable to modern society.3. Advertising plays an important role in our economic life and is indispensable to the consumer society.Against:1. Some leaflets and handouts are scattered here and there, polluting the environment. They are regarded as rubbish and a blemish on the landscape of the city. They disfigure our cities,2. Advertisements are not always truthful, and a product is often misrepresented, false and deceptive. Many advertisements are fictitious, exaggerating, misleading and flying in the face of truth. Advertisements are an insidious form of brainwashing. Some are mislead and tend to induce people to spend more and create demand for things we do not need.3. It is very disturbing that TV programs are interrupted by advertisements, and mailboxes are stuffed with rubbish. Nuisance to TV viewers: constant interruption spoils the viewing. We can do nothing but accept it passively. They are intrusive and offensive. The Disappearance of Language and CulturePresent Situation:1. Endangered languages are languages that are slowly disappearing because of technology and the desire for cultures to assimilate. Also, many cultures have changed or altered their languages for economic reasons.2. While languages are being lost at alarming rate, this is not a time for pessimism. Many local language communities are mobilizing to maintain and foster their linguistic traditions. The Reasons of Extinction1. With the recent wave of technological advances in communications, the world has gotten closer than ever before to image conjured by the words ―global village‖. Cultural globalization will result in one homogenous global culture where everyone looks the same, speaks the same and thinks the same.2. Languages become extinct when a community finds itself under pressure to integrate with a larger or more powerful group. Often the community is pressured to give up its language and even its ethnic and cultural identity. Because of some intense pressure, such as economic, social and political, some tribes give up their own cultures, including their languages, to embrace those of the majority tribes. The Significance of Language Preservation1. The study of a language not only equips a student with a new set of communication tools but also provides them with an ability to see things from a different cultural perspective.2. Language is culture, so killing language equals killing culture. In doing so, we erase whole histories and bury entire stories the richness of which the world loses forever.3. When a community loses its language, it often loses a great deal of its cultural identity at the same time. The Solutions to the Problem1. Highlight awareness of our heritage and celebrate our cultural diversity.2. Support the use of endangered languages in all contexts: at home, in education, in the media, and in social, cultural and economic life.3. Governments can help by removing bans on languages, and children should be encouraged to speak other languages in addition to their native tongues.Should government fund art?1. It is imperative that our national rich and diverse heritage in the arts and culture be preserved, enhanced, and publicly supported if we are to see the continuation of a tradition that has inspired people living and working here. Although the traditional artists may not create commercial benefits, they can enrich our spiritual life and civilize our society. It helps preserve and carry forward the traditional arts.2. It is a worthwhile investment because it puts a nation on the international cultural map and generates tourism dollars (boosts local tourism). Art upgrades the image and status of the city, ernment support for the arts will help attract and retain the organizational andindividual talent required by a thriving, multi-cultural economy and society.雅思作文话题BrainstormAre Zoos Necessary?1. Thanks for reading!篇10In my first year at university, I learned so many things and had a lot of fun! I met new friends from all over the world, and we would study together and hang out on campus. It was so cool to hear different accents and learn about different cultures. One of the things I really enjoyed was my English class. We read books, watched movies, and had discussions about all kinds of topics. My English teacher was really nice and always encouraged us to speak up and share our ideas. I used to be shy about speaking in front of the class, but now I feel more confident.I also joined a language exchange program where I could practice speaking with native English speakers. It was challenging at first, but I improved a lot over the year. I even started thinking in English sometimes!Another highlight of my first year was studying abroad. I went to England for a semester and lived with a host family. It was an amazing experience to be immersed in English culture and practice my language skills every day. I visited famous landmarks, tried new foods, and made lifelong memories.Overall, my first year at university was a great learning experience. I feel more comfortable speaking English, and I've met so many wonderful people. I can't wait to see what the next years will bring!。

头脑风暴法- Brainstorming

头脑风暴法- Brainstorming

Brainstorming, Generating many radical, creative ideas/brainstm.htmlBrainstorming is a popular tool that helps you generate creative solutions to a problem. It is particularly useful when you want to break out of stale, established patterns of thinking, so that you can develop new ways of looking at things. It also helps you overcome many of the issues that can make group problem-solving a sterile and unsatisfactory process.Used with your team, it helps you bring the diverse experience of all team members into play during problem solving. This increases the richness of ideas explored, meaning that you can find better solutions to the problems you face.It can also help you get buy in from team members for the solution chosen – after all, they were involved in developing it. What’s more, b ecause brainstorming is fun, it helps team members bond with one-another as they solve problems in a positive, rewarding environment. Why Use Brainstorming?Conventional group problem-solving can be fraught with problems. Confident, "big-ego" participants can drown out and intimidate quieter group members. Less confident participants can be too scared of ridicule to share their ideas freely. Others may feel pressurized to conform with the group view, or are held back by an excessive respect for authority. As such, group problem-solving is often ineffective and sterile.By contrast, brainstorming provides a freewheeling environment in which everyone is encouraged to participate. Quirky ideas are welcomed, and many of the issues of group problem-solving are overcome. All participants are asked to contribute fully and fairly, liberating people to develop a rich array of creative solutions to the problems they're facing.“Brainstorming 2.0”The original approach to brainstorming was developed by Madison Avenue advertising executive, Alex Osborn, in the 1950s. Since then, many researchers have explored the technique, and have identified issues with it.The steps described here seek to take account of this research, meaning that the approach described below differs subtly from Osborn's original one. What is Brainstorming?Brainstorming combines a relaxed, informal approach to problem-solving with lateral thinking(横向思维: 解决问题的方法, 以异乎寻常而显然不合逻辑的方法思考). It asks that people come up with ideas and thoughts that can at first seem to be a bit crazy. The idea here is that some of these ideas can be crafted into original, creative solutions to the problem you're trying to solve, while others can spark still more ideas. This approach aims to get people unstuck, by "jolting" them out of their normal ways of thinking.During brainstorming sessions there should therefore be no criticism of ideas: You are trying to open up possibilities and break down wrong assumptions about the limits of the problem. Judgments and analysis at this stage stunt idea generation.Ideas should only be evaluated at the end of the brainstorming session– this is the time to explore solutions further using conventional approaches.Individual BrainstormingWhile group brainstorming is often more effective at generating ideas than normal group problem-solving, study after study has shown that when individuals brainstorm on their own, they come up with more ideas (and often better quality ideas) than groups of people who brainstorm together.Partly this occurs because, in groups, people aren’t always strict in following the rules of brainstorming, and bad group behaviors creep in. Mostly, though, this occurs because people are paying so much atten tion to other people’s ideas that they're not generating ideas of their own – or they're forgetting these ideas while they wait for their turn to speak. This is called "blocking".When you brainstorm on your own, you'll tend to produce a wider range of ideas than with group brainstorming - you do not have to worry about other people's egos or opinions, and can therefore be more freely creative. For example, you might find that an idea you’d be hesitant to bring up in a group session develops into something quite special when you explore it with individual brainstorming. Nor do you have to wait for others to stop speaking before you contribute your own ideas. You may not, however, develop ideas as fully when you brainstorm on your own, as you do not have the wider experience of other members of a group to help you.Group BrainstormingWhen it works, group brainstorming can be very effective for bringing the full experience and creativity of all members of the group to bear on an issue. When individual group members get stuck with an idea, another member'screativity and experience can take the idea to the next stage. Group brainstorming can therefore develop ideas in more depth than individual brainstorming.Another advantage of group brainstorming is that it helps everyone involved to feel that they’v e contributed to the end solution, and it reminds people that other people have creative ideas to offer. What’s more, brainstorming is fun, and it can be great for team-building!Brainstorming in a group can be risky for individuals. Valuable but strange suggestions may appear stupid at first sight. Because of this, you need to chair sessions tightly so that ideas are not crushed, and so that the usual issues with group problem-solving don’t stifle creativity. How to Use the Tool:You can often get the best results by combining individual and group brainstorming, and by managing the process carefully and according to the "rules" below. That way, you get people to focus on the issue without interruption (this comes from having everyone in a dedicated group meeting), you maximize the number of ideas you can generate, and you get that great feeling of team bonding that comes with a well-run brainstorming session! To run a group brainstorming session effectively, do the following:∙Find a comfortable meeting environment, and set it up ready for the session.∙Appoint one person to record the ideas that come from the session. These should be noted in a format than everyone can see and refer to. Depending on the approach you want to use, you may want to record ideas on flip charts, whiteboards, or computers with data projectors.∙If people aren’t already used to working together, consider using an appropriate warm-up exercise or ice-breaker.∙Define the problem you want solved clearly, and lay out any criteria to be met. Make it clear that that the objective of the meeting is to generate as many ideas as possible.∙Give people plenty of time on their own at the start of the session to generate as many ideas as possible.∙Ask people to give their ideas, making sure that you give everyone a fair opportunity to contribute.∙Encourage people to develop other people's ideas, or to use other ideas to create new ones.∙Encourage an enthusiastic, uncritical attitude among members of the group. Try to get everyone to contribute and develop ideas, including the quietest members of the group.∙Ensure that no one criticizes or evaluates ideas during the session. Criticism introduces an element of risk for group members when putting forward an idea. This stifles creativity and cripples the free running nature of agood brainstorming session.∙Let people have fun brainstorming. Encourage them to come up with as many ideas as possible, from solidly practical ones to wildly impractical ones. Welcome creativity!∙Ensure that no train of thought is followed for too long. Make sure that you generate a sufficient number of different ideas, as well as exploring individual ideas in detail.∙In a long session, take plenty of breaks so that people can continue to concentrate.Where possible, participants in the brainstorming process should come from as wide a range of disciplines as possible. This brings a broad range of experience to the session and helps to make it more creative. However, don’t make the group too big – as with other types of teamwork, groups of between 5 and 7 people are often most effective.。

《I-am-going-to-study-computer-science》全英文说课稿

《I-am-going-to-study-computer-science》全英文说课稿

Good morning, dear judges. I'm number 5. It's my great honor to be here to interpret my teaching ideas. The topic of this lesson is “I am going to study computer science”. According to the New Curriculum Standard, I will presentthis lesson as follows:Let’s begin with the analysis of the teaching material. This lesson is chosen from PEP English book of junior high school, the first semester of grade8, Unit 6. The maintopic of this unit is about professions. After students finished this lesson, they could understand the usage ofthe basic structure of simply future tense “be going to”. Only after learning this lesson, can students learn the following lessons, such as the usage of “will”, theother way to express simple future tense, so this lessonis quite important to their further study. The second part is analysis of students. The next step is the analysis of students. Our students are in Grade 8. They have learnt English for many years,so they have got some basic skills of studying English. However, speaking ability still needs to be developed. Thus the teacher should provide them more chances topractice speaking ability.According to the idea of New Curriculum Standard in English, I set the following teaching aims.First one is knowledge aims:(1)Students can understand the usage of resolution.(2)Students can use the simple future tense “be going to” to make sentences correctly. The next one is ability aims:(1)Students can use the target language in a different context;(2)Students can foster the abilities of getting useful information from listening material;(3)Students can improve their listening and speaking abilities;(4)Students can come up several resolutions from different aspects. The last one is Emotional aims:(1) Can improve the confidence of learning English, and not afraid of speaking English in class;(2) Can cooperate with others actively, and complete the tasks together;(3) Can understand that New Year is a very time to makea plan;(4) Can make good arrangement to achieve their resolutions.Based on the teaching aims, here is the key point and difficult point. The key points are:(1) The usage of simple future tense;(2) The comprehension of the meaning of resolution. The difficult points are:(1) Can get the main idea of listening material, andget the useful information from material.(2) Can improve the confidence of learning English, and not afraid of speaking English;(3) Can make good arrangement to achieve their resolutions. Then let’s move onto the analysis of teaching methods and studying methods. In this lesson I’ll mainly use “Task-based teaching method”, “Communicative language teaching method” and “CAI teaching method”. As to the studying methods, I will encourage students to use cooperative study method to embody the role of first place in instruction activities. Now, let’s talk about the teaching aids. In this class, I will use multi-media, pictures and a tape recorder. After above analysis, let’s come to the most important part-----analysis of teaching procedures. I will finishthis lesson in the following several steps.1. Lead-inAsk students to do a brainstorm. Ask 3 students to use the simple future tense “be going to” to describe what they want to do. And let’s see how many things eachstudent can describe in 2 minutes.Through brainstorm, they could use their all effort to make sentences, so it will greatly stimulate their enthusiasm in speaking. It can also create an interesting atmosphere in class.2. Pre- listeningIn this part, I will ask students to do two activities.First activity: Through question to let students understand the meaning of “resolution”. For example:T: Look at the blackboard, here is a new word. Do you know what a resolution is?S: ….T: It’s a kind of promise. And we just spent our New Year holiday, do you have any new year’s promise or resolution? A year’s plan starts with spring, let’s have a group discussion about your new year’s resolution. Then I will ask students to work in groups of 4, andlist what are they going to do in this year. And then ask them to share their resolutions by using simple future tense. Such as:I am going to….After this activity, I will make a short summary and move on to the next part. I will tell them all of their resolutions are very interesting, and ask them look at the pictures in 1a and have a guess what the resolutions arein each picture, and put the right number in each blank. Then check the answers according to the following dialogues:---What is the boy going to do next year in this picture?---He is going to learn to play the piano. The second activity: Ask students to change the address from “the boy” to “you”, and make the dialogue according to the 1b in pairs. After finished, I willinvite some pairs to perform their dialogues.Through these two activities, students can review the usage of the two sentences in simple future tense. And it can lay a foundation to the next part---listening.3. While- listeningFirstly, I will play the record for twice, and ask students to finish the chart in 1c, write down how the different people make their resolutions work. After finished, ask students to check the answer in pairs.Secondly, I will play the tape again, and ask students to read after the record, and pay more attention to the pronunciation, and do the imitation.Through listening to the tape for three times, they could make the meaning of this listening material clearly. And through checking answers in pairs, they could have more chance to speak. And their pronunciation andintonation will also be developed through the imitation in third listening.4. Post-listeningAsk students to do the following activity:According to the resolutions you made at the beginning of this class, think about how you are going to make them work in pairs. Then talk about them with your group according to the conversation in 1e.A: I want to be a teacher.B: How are you going to do that?A: Well, I am going to study hard and get good grades.B: Sound like a good plan, I want to get a lot of exercise. After finished, I will ask some groups to share their ideas. The purpose of this part is to consolidate the sentence structures. Through making conversations by themselves, they can improve their speaking ability. It also can embody the essential idea of New Curriculum Standard: students are the main body of class.5. Summary and homeworkI will ask students to think about what we have learned today. Then make a summary. At last, I will leave them some homework as this way: Suppose you are a journalist, and you are going tointerview your friends, and find out three things that your friends want to do before they become old. You can do the interview according to the following conversation, and after your interview, please complete the chart.A practical homework could inspire students to apply they useful expression into their daily life. It could also can make their study more interesting and joyful. Thus their activeness of learning English will be motivated. The last part is the analysis of blackboard design. I will design my blackboard like this:That’s all for my teaching design. Thank you!。

How to do Brainstorm
Brainstorm, is a very popular topic.
I believe everyone here knows this word, Brainstorm. Even almost all of us have tried at least one time of brainstorm. Today I also want to have a brainstorm practice with all of you.
Now I will give you the brainstorm topic first, and later we can discuss it. The brainstorm topic will be how we could make more our club members attend every weekly Toastmaster Meeting. You can take some time to think about it first, and I can continue my speech.
As we know, even for the same thing, possibly different people have different ideas. We can't say which idea is absolutely right or wrong. But base on all people’s wisdom, we can luckily find the better solution and more acceptable solution for most of us. That’s the charm of brainstorm.
Obviously, brainstorm is a very good way to find a solution for some issues. But which kinds of issues are suitable to do brainstorm? I am sure the issues must be important. And maybe there are two other necessary points. One is those issues will affect most of related people and the other is those issues should not be very confidential.
Actually, not all those issues with above three features need to do brainstorm. I think only under some special situations brainstorming is a better way to find a good solution. Typically, I think there are three situations. First, when decision makers have completely run out of ideas and he needs people to help him think, then he will collect people to do a brainstorm. Second, when decision mak ers’ brains are not very sharp and maybe he already has some ideas but he has not enough confidence with his decision, he needs brainstorm. Third, when group decision-making can make the decision become more reliable and realized better, the best way is to do brainstorm.
How to do brainstorm? Now we turn back to the brainstorm topic I just told you, and let’s have a brainstorm practice. My question is how we could make more our club members attend every weekly Toastmaster Meeting. Now please give your ideas.
Thank all of you for your wonderful ideas. As you see, brainstorm is such wonderful way to come up with good ideas. Here I also have some ideas to share with all of you. For more attendees,
Maybe we could set up some awards for attendance rate.
Maybe we could assign some meeting role base on everyone’s attendance rate.
Maybe we could try to hold the meeting once two week.
