Unit5 What does he do

一、教学内容分析

本节课的教学内容是PEP六年级上册(三年级起始的教材)Unit5 第一课时PartA Let’s learn,“Let’s learn”部分的教学是词汇课教学,通过张鹏和Oliver在职业体验日谈论自己父母的工作情景,呈现单词和词组的词形和词意。主要学习4个单词和词组,同时也为以后能熟练运用句型“What does he/she do ”自由谈论职业做准备。

二、学情分析

本节课所执教的班级是六年级学生,有着三年的学习英语的基础,整体英语水平较好,爱学好动,模仿能力较强,大部分学生学习习惯良好,但也有部分学生学习习惯差,学习基础差。

三、教学目标

知识目标

1.让学生掌握四会单词或词组factory worker, postman, businessman, police officer。

2.让学生运用句型Is your father a postman No, he isn’t. What does he do He is a businessman. 与别人进行沟通交流。

3 能完成listen,match and say 并能够与别人交流。

4 能够用所学单词词组及句型描述My family.

能力目标

能够熟练掌握四个词汇,从音、形、意各方面全面展开对单词的认识和理解,能准确对单词作出反应,并能结合句型替换关键词,最终达

到熟练应用的目的,能变所“学”为所“用”。

四、教学重点

本课时的教学重点是能够听说读写四个单词和词组并在情境中灵活运用。

五、教学难点

四个职业单词和词组的书写;能结合所学句型替换关键词,能根据上课的各种活动最终达到熟练自如地运用所学单词,并开动脑筋巧记单词,逐步达到对单词的四会掌握。

六、课前准备

教师准备多媒体课件,单词卡片。

七、教学过程

Step1 Warm-up

1 TPR 活动T: Boys and girls, please watch and sing. Now let's sing and do togethetr. Follow me, follow me , stand up , stand up ......

Ss: Sing and do together.

2 Sharp eyes. T: This class we're going to learn unit 5 . we're going to talk about jobs. How many jobs do you know Ok, please say out as quickly as you can .

Ss: shout out the words about jobs .

Step2 Presentation

1 T:It's Career Day today . What does your father do and What does

your mother do Ss: Answer one by one .

2 T: Who are they Ss: They are Chen Jie and Oliver. Please watch the video and answer the two questions: ①What does Oliver’s father do ②What does Oliver’s mother do

Ss: His mother is a head teacher. His father is a businessman.

T: Follow me ,please . business- man =businessman .

Ss: Read group by group .

利用课件拓展:Ma Yun is a businessman. Steve Jobs is a businessman. 及businesswoman . 并板书businessman。

3 T:Can you guess what does he do 出示短文:He posts(邮寄)letters and newspapers, he works in the post office。

Ss: He is a postman . 邮递员(Read by boys, girls, and together )并板书。

4 相同方式学习factory worker .

5 出示四幅职业图片T:What does he do Ss He is a postman . 同样方法操练factory worker / businessman /postman ,并学习police officer 板书。

6 利用四幅职业图片T:Is your father a factory worker /businessman/postman /policeman

Ss: No, he isn’t / yes, he is .

利用板书领读并板书句子What does he do He is a …Is your father a ..

Step3 Consolidation and extension

1 T:Open your books and turn to page49 ,thenfollow to read .

2 T: Are you tired let’s chant and rest.

3 Listen , match and say

①T: Who are the persons

Ss:Jiao Jie’s mother/ Ge Nan’s father / Zhou Jia’s mother /Liu Qian’s father

T: What are the jobs

Police officer / postman/ factory worker / businessman

②T: Now listen carefully and match the person with the jobs

③Ss: Work in pairs, ask and answer.

T: First read and match . Then read again and finish the sentences .
