Lean:

1.VERB(身体)倾斜,倾侧When you lean in a particular direction, you bend your body in that direction.

He leaned forward to give her a kiss...

他前倾吻了她一下。

She leant forward to hear what the little girl said.

2. 倚,靠be against a wall or other surface

Lean against/on

If you lean on or against someone or something, you rest against them so that they partly support your weight. If you lean an object on or against something, you place the object so that it is partly supported by that thing.

She likes to lean against a tree in the park, reading a book.

lean on: to depend on for support and encouragement

e.g. 我们有困难时总寻求父母的支持。

We always lean on our parents when we are in trouble.

3. adj.(壮健而)清瘦的If you describe someone as lean, you mean that they are thin but look strong and healthy.

Like most athletes, she was lean and muscular. (muscle 肌肉)

More than

1. more than后面跟名词,意为“不只是,不仅仅是”。例如:

(1)Kate was more than a teacher. She also did what she could to take care of her pupils.

2. more than与数词连用,意思是“多于,大于,超过”。例如:

(1)I have known him for more than twenty years. 我认识他已超过二十年了。

3. more than与形容词和分词连用,表示“非常、十分”。例如:

(1)They were more than happy to see us come back from the expedition. 看到我们远征而归,他们异常高兴。

4. more than和含有情态动词的句子连用,有否定意义,表示“是……难以……”或“超过了……所能”之义。例如:

(1)The beauty of the mountainous country is more than I can describe. 我难以描述那个山村的美丽。
