结果状语从句的用法：

结果状语从句是表示事态结果的从句，通常主句是原因，从句是结果。由sothat（从句谓语一般没有情态动词），so……that，such……that等引导。结果状语从句表示结果，通常位于主句之后。

1.sothat可以引导目的状语从句，也可以引导结果状语从句。

①Heworried sothat hecouldn’tsleep.他急得睡不着。(sothat引导结果状语从句)

②Itwasverycold,sothat theriverfroze.天气寒冷，河水都结冰了。(sothat引导结果状语从句)
