小学英语故事类体裁绘本的深度阅读策略

-073-2021年第39期(总第291期)摘 要:故事在儿童学习语言的过程中起到很大的作用,故事阅读在小学英语阅读中占很大比重。

文章依据英语阅读理解由易到难的层次递进原则,指导学生提取表层信息,了解故事大意,融贯文本信息,加深故事理解,挖掘深层信息,升华故事内涵,以达到深度阅读故事的目的。

运用叙事的方法,把语言知识、文化意识、价值观等整合在故事情境中,是儿童习得语言知识、受到文化熏陶、形成价值观的重要渠道。

小学阶段的英文故事短小精悍,具有丰富的情境性和趣味性,是儿童喜闻乐见的,符合他们的认知特点,有利于学生的语言发展、思维发展和全人发展。

《义务教育英语课程标准(2011年版)》在小学不同阶段的分级阅读中给故事制订了不同的标准。

故事类体裁绘本的阅读如此重要,如何开展故事类体裁绘本的阅读,很现实地摆在了教育工作者面前。

笔者通过多年的教学积累,根据阅读过程由易到难的层次递进原则,通过对故事的分层解读、层层深化,总结出一套对故事深度阅读的方法,现对操作策略作具体阐述。

一、提取表层信息,了解故事大意故事的阅读要有整体意识,不但要见整片森林,还要见单个树木。

因此,在整体感知故事文本的同时,还要关注文本的细节。

(一)提取故事要素英语阅读文本主要有四种体裁:叙述类、说明类、议论类和描述类。

小学英语故事类绘本可以纳入叙述类这一范畴。

每一篇绘本故事的理解都要从显性的表层信息入手,步步深入,因此在处理故事文本时,教师可以结合叙述类文体的六要素,开展寻读,了解故事大意。

以故事的人物、时间、地点,故事的起因、经过和结果六要素所涉及的问题为导向,让学生到文本中寻找答案。

一般说来,只要找到六要素的答案,学生基本就能对故事的大概有一定的理解。

However, a woodcutter nearby heard Little Red Riding Hood screaming and came to rescue her. They accepted him, but the ugly duckling was sad and didn't feel like he belonged.As time passed, the ugly duckling grew into a handsome swan. Finally, the other ducks saw how beautiful he had become and accepted him. The grapes looked fresh and enticing. The fox decided to try and reach them. But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t reach the grapes.Finally, the fox gave up and said, "The grapes are sour and not worth eating anyway."The fox walked away feeling disappointed and humiliated. He convinced himself that he didn't want the grapes in the first place. The mouse heard the lion's roar and came to see what the problem was.The mouse saw the lion and offered to help him. Using his small size, the mouse was able to free the lion from the trap. You should also be prepared, instead of just enjoying your time now."The grasshopper continued to play and laze around. However, when winter arrived, the grasshopper had nothing to eat. He went to the ant and asked for help. The ant agreed and shared her food with the grasshopper. 学情分析:
1. 本课教学内容是一篇13页的故事,内容相对而言,有点偏多。

再加上文中有不少主要的和次要的新词汇,所以在教学过程中,不能面面俱到,在整体把握故事的基础上,对部分内容进行必要的“泛读”。

2. 故事的主人公与故事的背景以及结构,对学生而言应该不是陌生的。

因为,在分级阅读7,也就是六年级上学期,书中已经出现过Linda Lighthouse拯救紫色海豚的故事。

教学目标:
1. 读懂理解故事大意并能独立完成练习。

2. 学生感知到不同的阅读方式,以便用于自身平时的阅读中去。

3. 在Try to act中,尽可能的培养学生语言的运用能力和再创设能力。

教学重难点:
1. 在相对较短的时间内,要求学生读懂并理解语意。
