通过本课时的学习,能培养同学间的友好相处,规范自己的行为,同时能提高他们的观察能力和判断能力,激发他们对学习英语的兴趣和热情,在接近生活常态的交际中能乐于模仿,敢于开口,积极参与,主动请教。

在此之前,学生已掌握部分形容词的用法。

所以,这些对学生来说并不难,学生很容易掌握。

基于上述对教材的分析,我确定本单元的教学重点为词汇、形容词比较级的构成、形容词比较级的用法。

教学难点为the comparatives with –er/ier and more的结构及读音,能在交际中准确地运用本单元的话题对自己与他人进行描述,作出比较并进行判断。

说课稿一、教材分析我所讲的这节课是新目标八年级英语第一册第三单元语法——形容词的比较级。

本单元围绕表述个人特征,对人物进行比较这个题材开展多种教学活动,主要语言结构是形容词比较级的用法。

形容词的比较级是学科说明中明确规定的必须掌握的知识,因此本单元的语法占有非常重要的地位。

谈论个性特征学会使用形容词的比较级比较人的个性特征是本单元的重点,掌握比较级的概念和形容词比较级的五种规则变化是本节课的难点。

二、教学目标(一)知识目标:1.学习单词:taller, larger, thinner, more outgoing, heavier ,quieter, funnier, smarter…2.掌握句子:Is that Sam? No, that’s Tom,He has shorter hair than Sam. He’s calmer than Sam.(二)能力目标:培养学生运用形容词比较级的口头表达能力及知识自学的综合能力。

(三)情感目标:1.通过形象、生动的教学使学生掌握如何去比较两个人,并从中学会尊重对方欣赏别人中,享受与不同的人交往的乐趣。

2.培养学生学习英语的强烈兴趣,乐于参加各种活动的积极情感。

三、教学方法本堂课教学对象是八年级学生。

这一阶段的学生思维能力发展较快,自我意识增强,在情感方面他们能进行自我教育。

经过一年的新课程理念的熏陶及实践,学生已有了初步的自主、合作、探究和实践的能力。

所以我以英语新课标为理论,根据现阶段英语教学的基本学情为依据,结合八年级学生的心理特点和认知发展规律,采用了1. 课堂互动法。

通过师生交流,生生交流,实现师生互动。

鼓励学生大胆发言,营造平等交流气氛,让学生成为课堂学习的主体。

2. 任务型教学法。

即按学生需要取材,由内容决定形式以及以任务,以完成任务为动力。

3 . 情景教学法。

充分发挥教师的主导作用和学生的主体作用,为学生进行交际创设更多生动活泼的语言环境,把学生吸引到活动中去,并激发他们主动参与学习的欲望。

因此,本节课主要借助多媒体手段,采用视听法、情景模拟、情感激励及任务型教学等相结合的方法,导入、练习、归纳过去进行时态的陈述句与疑问句,通过听说读写等多种语言实践活动交替进行,使学生认识到语言学习过程的多样性。

学生通过自主学习,角色扮演,实践体验,合作与互助等学习方式,来掌握本课的知识和技能,从而开发学生的思维能力,尊重学生的个性发展,使学生学习语言的过程同时成为学生形成积极的情感态度、主动思维、大胆实践的过程,使枯燥的语言变得丰富多彩,易于接受。

二、教学背景分析(一)教学内容分析注:含本课时在本单元的教学定位分析Unit3以“What were you doing when the UFO arrived”为课题,谈论过去其中一时刻正在发生的动作或状态。

如何在各项语言实践中正确使用过去进行时态是本单元的重、难点。

本课是Unit3的第一课时,围绕着UFO到达时人物在做什么这一话题展开,主要通过听说形式让学生初步学习、应用过去进行时态,让学生能使用这一时态表述在过去其中一时刻正在发生的事情或状态,从而为本单元接下来的语言教学打下基础。

本课教学内容容易激发学生学习兴趣,并贴近生活实际,易于引发学生使用目标语言进行简单的'交际与交流。

在学习活动中,通过观察***片、情景思维、俩俩对话,角色扮演等形式,使学生能够自主学习,合作交流,完成任务,培养学生的语言综合运用能力和实践能力。

(二)学生情况分析本课的主要目标是学习掌握过去进行时态的陈述句和疑问句,学会描述过去正在发生的事情或状态,它是在学生已经学习了现在进行时态和一般过去时态的基础上进行的。

对于八年级的学生来说,他们已经有了一定的词汇量,特别是对要用到的一些动词,大部分学生有了一定的基础,这样便于教学内容的突破。

2.比较级的用法1)我比Lily 瘦。

I_run_faster_than_Tom.当两种物体之间相互比较时我们要用形容词或副词的比较级,“A+be+形容词比较级+than+B”意为“A比B更……”。
