1. What is true love by your understanding?
Nowadays, love has been a world that is used frequently. But what’s the true love? The true love is an abstract,senseless,full of imagination.
In my opinion, love is a kind of wonderful feeling,which attracts us so much. We always hear about some cases that a man and a woman fall in love with each other at the first sight. However, most of the time, we are more likely to be sweet on someone who has been with us for a long time. True love must be tested by time. The most important feature of true love is giving,not taking. You do not want to get anything back in return. You are always wondering if you have given enough. If you love someone, someone is the number one in your mind and you will always take someone’s feelings into mind. And you never want someone to get hurt. Another important feature is forgiveness. True love is to get on well with the one you loved for a whole life.
2.After watching the movie Brokeback Mountain, do you change your definition and understanding of love?
I change my definition and understanding of love.
The true love is not only between the man and women, but also exist in the same sex. I believe a marriage is a union between one man and one woman to love each other and, if God wills, have children. So, with that view of what marriage is, homosexual marriage is not possible. It isn't that they aren't good enough or are evil, it simply can't happen. I know
many people disagree with that definition, but, to be honest, I felt otherwise about i t at first. Homosexuality didn’t accord with the traditional idea. As we all know, people always say that everyone has the right to enjoy happiness, and it is one of happiness to gain the equal love. It is important that there is no limit to the gender. But the majority of people are banned from the homosexual love and homosexual marriage by law and custom because it just was not natural.
But whatever others say, Jack and Ennis can free their mind of apprehensions and love bravely in the movie 《Brokeback》. I seemed gradually understand them, and the special emotion. Now I just want to say : everything that exists is rewarding and blessing for them.
3.What is your attitude towards homosexual love and homosexual marriage?
I do support homosexual love and homosexual.
Primarily, marriage is a legal institution, defined by the law. The law specifies the responsibilities and privileges of marriage and the procedures of divorce. When people use the word marriage, in normal daily discourse, this marriage between the man and the woman that allowed by the law. However, one is the most problem is the homosexual marriage not within the range allowed by the constitution and the laws. Furthermore, the word marriage is further entangled with multiple traditions. Christians, Jews and Muslims each have specific expectations
about marriage.
At first, I did not keep touch with gay world. So I could not understand it. It let me to feel sick. When I read after the university, I see some gay movies. Then I can understand it. Homosexual love and homosexual marriage are not surprising. I think it's normal for this multicultural society. At least, a man who love another man don't conside material factor. Their emotion is pure. Love not cent sex. True love doesn't rightly or wrongly. Both gay people, is normal people, their feelings also worthy of respect, also need to eulogize. Let the world to a more caring, to a more inclusive, to a more understanding. As for me, homosexual love and homosexual marriage who can tell their sexuality frankly is really brave. And how much courage should they take. Our society should be more forgiving. Although say so, but personally I'm not gay, but I respect them.
4.Does homosexual marriage have more good than bad? Or more bad than good? And why?
In my opinion, homosexual marriage have more bad.
For example, in America and Europe, the AIDS mostly spread by homosexual marriage. In 1973, the investigations show that 1/2 of the homosexual marriage have infected HIV. Undoubtedly, spread of AIDS will bring a serious consequence to community. Therefore, the homogeneity lover must be responsible for the spread of AIDS. In
addition, if we are too tolerant to homosexual marriage, more and more homosexual marriage will grow up, this will do harm to a community or all of individuals.
Homosexual marriage is legalized exist too much potential hidden danger and can cause a lot of social problems. Homosexual marriage legalized will make gay population rising and these gay most are young people. After they got married would not reproduce. More then, when they are old, they can not gain offspring’s maintenance. Then homosexual marriage also can cause social security pressures increasing.。
