10 The greener ways of transportation have little bad effect on the environment. It can not only save energy and reduce air pollution, but also is good for our health. In our daily life, when we travel a short distance, we should walk or ride a bicycle instead of taking a bus or taxi. It is both healthy and environmentally friendly. If we have to take some vehicles, we’d better not drive cars. Instead, we may choose to take buses, subways or other public transportation. By doing these we can save lots of energy and protect our environment. It is easier said than done, so we need to develop the habit of being green.
