信息技术（Information Technology），正在飞速的发展，中国公民也越来越重视信息技术，有些学校甚至将信息技术作为必修课程，对这一现象大家持不同观点。

一部分人认为这是没有必要的，学生就应该学习传统的课程。

另一部分人认为这是应该的，中国就应该与时俱进。

不管怎样，信息技术引起广大人民的重视是一件好事。

Nowadays, Information Technology is developing rapidly, and Chinese citizens are putting more emphasis on it. Some schools and universities even make Information Technology one of the compulsory courses. People hold different views on this phenomenon. Some people deem that it is unnecessary to make Information Technology a required course in schools. Students should learn traditional curriculum. While other people think that it should be so, and they hold the attitude that China should keep pace with the times. Many people like Chinese foo d. In Chin a,cooking is not only regarded/seen/considered as a skill but also an art. Chinese food that are well prepared is tasty and good-looking. The way of cooking and ingredients selection vary greatly from place to place in China. However, good cooking has one thing in common, that is, to always concern colors, smell, taste and nutrition. As food is vital for man’s health, good cooks are always making effort to maintain balance between grains，meats and vegetables. Thus/therefore, Chinese food is delicious and healthy.苏州街原称买卖街（Merchants Street），乾隆时（Emperor Qianlong’s reign）仿江南水乡（South China Towns）而建，是专供清代帝后逛市游览的一条水街，一八六零年被英法联军（Anglo-French Allied Forces）焚毁，一九九零年在遗址上复建。

街全长三百余米，以水当街，以岸作市，沿岸设有茶馆、酒楼、药房、钱庄、帽店、珠宝铺、点心铺（grocery store）等六十多个铺面，集中展现了十八世纪中国江南的商业文化氛围。

Suzhou Street originally called Merchants Street, it was built in the style of South China Towns, during Emperor Qianlong’s reign(1736-1795). It was a street where emperors and empresses could pretend to go shopping as ordinary people and it was burned to the ground by the Anglo-French Allied Forces in 1860 and restored in 1990. The 300-meter street is built over water with shops and stands on the bank. More than 60 businesses, including a teahouse, a restaurant, a pharmacy, a bank, a hat store, a jewelry store and a grocery store, operateon the bank, pressing a concentrated illustration of the commercialism in South China towns in the 18th century.中国结最初是由手工艺人发明的，经过数百年不断的改进，已经成为一种优雅多彩的艺术和工艺。

The Chinese knot is originally invented by the handicraftsman. After several hundred years continuous innovation, it has evolved into an elegant and colorful art and craft. In ancient times, it was used for recording events, while now it is mainly used to decorate. In Chinese, "Knot"means love, marriage and reunion. The Chinese knot is often used as a gift to express good wishes or an ornament to ward off evil spirits. Modem humans first came to China from Central Asia or India about 50,000 BC. These were Stone Age people, who lived in caves and wore fur and leather. By around 4,000 BC, these people were starting to farm rice and keep sheep and chickens. By about 3,000 BC, they were using pottery and living in houses. By 2,000 BC，Chinese people had entered the Bronze Age and had begun to use writing. By about 700 BC，Chinese metal-workers learned to make iron tools and weapons.补充：500 AD(公元500年）中国一个幅员辽阔、资源丰富、历史悠久的多民族国家，每个民族都有其独特的丰富菜肴。
