❖ The Bronte sisters were born in Yorkshire. In 1820 Mr. Brontë moved his family to Haworth, a remote and gloomy village on the Yorkshire moors. During the following years at Haworth, they had a great deal of freedom to explore the surrounding countryside.(They were impressed and inspired by it)
