157 companies with their annual output over RMB 100 million, 120 programs invested by Fortune Global 500 companies, and 415 state-level high-tech enterprises. BDA has seen its high-tech industrial output occupying more than 80% of the total industrial output for ten consecutive years.

In terms of scale, the IC industry of BDA accounts for 1/2 of that of the whole city. BDA has developed an industrial chain led by SMIC which covers package test, equipment, components and parts, materials, and design enterprises. Meanwhile, it has also brought together many companies engaged in producing complete machines and systems including Nokia, BOE, LeTV, Cloud Valley, and Doov. A good environment featuring interactive relations between complete machine companies and chip companies has emerged in BDA.
