强调句的概念:强调句是一种修辞,是人们为了表达自己的意愿或情感而使用的一种形式。

强调句型的强调部分必须是对 that / who 之后句子的某一成分表示强调,如果把“It is (was)...that ”去掉,该句应该意思完整,不缺任何句子成分:

Eg. It is Mr. Li who is in charge of our class now.

1.强调句中对主语的强调:

[典例]

It was_what_ he said_that_ disappointed me.

[重点用法]

It 引导的强调句中对主语部分的强调中,首先判断是否为强调句的依据是去掉it is/was 和that 之后如果句子成分是完整的那么就是强调句。

[解释]

此句中what he said disappointed me. 是主要表达的句式,其中“what he said ”是句子的主语,对主语部分进行强调时应放置到强调句式的被强调部分。

[归纳]

当强调句对主语部分进行强调时应该注意保持主谓一致:

It was children who are watching the football match then. (其中are 和children 保持一致。)

It was he that was admitted to Beijing University. (其中he 是句子的主语被强调句式强调了,并非was的表语故不能用宾格)。

1.强调句中对宾语的强调:

[典例]

It is a winter night that he spent with me last night.

[重点用法]

Spend +时间/金钱/精力on sth/ in doing sth/ with sb.

[解释] “昨天晚上他和我一起度过了一个冬天的夜晚。” spent 为及物动词故a winter night 应该做它的宾语。

[归纳]

判断是否是对句中宾语部分的强调时,首先要看谓语动词(vt.)和介词后是否有相应的宾语。如果谓语动词是不及物动词且其后无相应介词,it is 之后部分为名词时,则这个句子可能就不会是对宾语的强调或者就不是强调句。

【解析】强调主语时,that/who之后的谓语动词在人称和数上应与句子的主语保持一致,题干中主语是they,并且强调句结构中用的是is,现在时态,因此选A。

【答案】A

【解析】强调句型中,被强调的是时间、地点原因或方式状语时,用that,不能用when, where, why, how,因此选用A。

I am sure you won’t be disappointed.”

After this special meeting, I always thought about this kind of holiday. Last month, I had a chance at last to go on such a holiday with some of my schoolmates and we went to London, a place where I had wanted to go since years ago.

As we were still young, we had a group leader who planned things for us and looked after us. After we got to London, we went to stay with different families.
